"ITS HALLOWEEN HOES!" Pidge yelled racing into the room, her shoes clanking down the hall. Pidge was wearing a customs that was usually for guys. She was a cat women costume except the outfit looked more masculine than feminine.
"Hell yeah!" Morgana smiled standing up and looking so excited. She was wearing an corpse bride dress which her grandmother had made by hand. Well with Morgana's help of course. Which would explain why she absolutely loved it. Morgana tended to love the things she made no matter how ugly they looked over the years.
"Let's go get some candy hoes!" Star smiled widely in her Stitch costume. She was her favourite Disney character. It was amazing to see her so happy. They all had been planning this for a while.
"Mel are you sure you still wanna go?" Morgana asked holding her friends hands. He smiled tiredly and nodded.
"To be honest I need to. I want to too. This will help according to my dad." Meliodas smiled tiredly. He had been dealing with depression ever since his mother had fallen into a coma a few weeks ago. He hardly ever left the house but, his old friend and new ones came to visit. It seemed to help him more than he ever knew. Though Halloween seemed to help him ever so much.
"Okay uhh....we might have a slight plan with our truck or treating plans tonight." Kyle bit his lip. He was bouncing his leg in his robot costume. Meliodas stopped to look at him, letting the foam axe in his hand drop almost. For some reason he wanted to be a hunter.
"Well I uhhh....ummm....you know how my dad's usually take Echo trick or treating?" Kyle asked. Morgana nodded. She had almways seen them doing it ever since Echo was adopted three years ago now.
"Well umm my pa...he fell at work yesterday . He's still in the hospital so I..-"
"I'm weady to to twick ow tweating!" Echo giggled waddling around the corner in his tiny little duck costume. The girls all awed while Meliodas smiled at the tiny boy, the size of a toddler.
"He can some." Morgana cooed.
"Yeah he's to cute not to come." Star added smiling. Echo just smiled and cheered a thank you with his tiny lips.
"Okay little man you ready to go?" Kyle asked. Echo nodded and held his big brother's hand before heading out for Halloween. He was ready to have the best night ever.
Keith
"Are you sure you don't need me to stay for a while?" Keith asked. Sure he was so much more short then him but, he still was wearing a costume of Freddie Mercury and he was the god of the LGBTQ. Or at least in his opinion. Arcann groaned turning around.
"I will be fine for the last time. Just got meet up with the kids." Arcann was slightly ticked off all these males now. He wanted to stab them so much right now if he could. Lance was the only one whom he liked, also known as the only one in the car.
"And you're sure you have our numbers in case.."
"Yes Ezra for the love of good yes. Yes I have your number. And yes I know it. Now go trick or treat a finale time and get me some candy for the baby." Arcann spoke up trying to push Ezra out of the house. Well him and the other two guys in the house. Thankfully they were all on the lawn now.
"And you know to go hide in Ezra's bedroom if Hera or Kanan comes back early right?" Nasty asked, playing with the sleeves of his dragon costume.
"Yes Nastu. Just go have fun. Call me when you get a bunch of candy." Arcann smiled showing them away. Very slowly all three male's climbed into the car behind Lance. They all smiled as they drove off. Lance meanwhile just sighed.
"Dear lord you guys are to overprotective of him." Lance mumbled. Keith shrugged.
"We kinda gotta be." Keith sighed.
"And why is that?"
"Lance when we were in the Foster system, no one did that for us. We did it for each other. It's just in our minds. It's like a animal reaction." Nico mumbled looking out the window before looking to see if his girlfriend texted him. Ezra was getting a little fiery right now though.
"Well why can't the father of the baby do that?" Lance asks a bit nervously.
"Cause he's not around. He never will be either." Ezra sighs waiting to go.
"Well what about his brother?" Lance asked nervously. The car fell silent while the foster siblings exchanged some looks. They all looked nervous. Lance was just about to say they didn't have to say anything. He honestly was. The only problem was that he got an answer. One he didn't want.
"His brother was beat to death by their old foster parents." Ezra's voice was hardly a whisper but, Lance could fell the heart break in the tone of his voice.
Arcann
"Twick ow tweat!" Little Echo smiled holding out his bag for candy. Arcann smiled at the cute sight. Then he put a hand full of his candy in the tiny toddler's candy bag. Sure he had been planning to eat it himself but, he could wait.
"You're so cute!" Arcann cooed at him. Echo giggled smiling happily at him, in Kyle's arms.
"Now what do we say to the nice man?" Kyle asked his baby brother. Echo looked down thinking for a minute. He looked so focused. Then it hit him what he was supposed to say. Afterwards he smiled.
"Tank you!" Echo chimed making Morgana snort. Arcann smiled waving bye before closing the door. The room fell quite before Sabine spoke up.
"Dude you gonna watch this with us or what?" She asked looking over the back of the couch. Arcann nodded before waddling down back to the couch. He plopped down next to Hunk who was the only one there without a dad. Sabine was in her boyfriend's lap. As for Zeb, he had Kallus sitting close to him.
Arcann slowly reached forward and ate some more home made pumpkin cookies. Hunk had made them so you just knew they tasted good. Arcann couldn't hardly stop eating them. He loved the taste of them but, the baby seemed to love them more. He would kick ever time he ate one covered in frosting.
"You have to give me your recipe Hunk. It's tastes amazing." He smiled blushing a bit. Hunk nodded looking at him.
"I imagine it would. And if you want I can make you more snacks like that." He chimed up.
"Oh in gang case do you mind coming a cake soon. I really want a chocolate double decker one. I can hardly do a single thing right and they're so expensive." Arcann piped up looking hopeful. Hunk smiled a bit. He nodded.
"I don't see why not." Hunk chimed up to him. Arcann smiled happily eating a few more cookies.
"Shhh...they're getting to a good party." Sabine smiled while the movie, Halloween continued. It seemed like fun. Yet, once Arcann looked out the window he what'd to scream.
He saw his brother.
He saw his dead brother looking at him.
And just like that he fainted.
