John and Alan were on the way to help Captain Ridley O'Bannon with some tech problems on Global One. Personally Alan didn't see the point: they were International Rescue not International Electritians, but John had insisted they come so here he was. "Remind me again- exactly why are we doing this?" John sighed. "Captain O'Bannon needs some help sorting out some tech issues on Global One."
Alan grinned slyly. "I bet this is just an excuse to hang out with Ridley, am I right?"
John groaned. "No comment."
Alan rolled his eyes. "Don't deny it, you've seiriously got a crush on her."
John was caught out. He decided to use his trump card. "If we're talking about crushes, we could always get on the business of you and Kayo?"
Alan almost choked. "No, don't even go there!"
John smiled. Job done.
Alan scowled. He had to get back on John for teasing him! Suddenly an idea began to take shape in his head. If he suddenly got an imaginary distress call whilst they were there, he could always sneak away... and leave John stranded... alone... with Ridley. He smirked. This was the joy of tech failiures.
