As requested by kayokyrano Hope you enjoy!
Kayo was on her way to take a shower after a tiring mission when her communicator started bleeping. She frowned. Typical. Intruder alert. She opened the digital map of Tracy Island and found that the "intruder" was currently on a tiny, little known beach on the other side of the island. Weird. That particular beach was too small to land an aircraft and you'd have to know the area pretty well in order to get there by boat. She'd better go check it out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As she neared the small stretch of sand, Kayo could see a tiny dinghy moored there, along with a single figure who, even from a distance, looked extremely tired. They waved at her. She'd have to land on a nearby cliff face and investigate on foot.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kayo crept closer, making sure to stay hidden in the bushes. She realised, with a start, that this was the very same beach she and Alan had confessed their love on a few weeks prior. She smiled at the memory. Alan. She wondered where he was right now. Probably asleep.
CRACK!
Kayo winced, as she realised, in her distracted state, she'd stood on a twig. The intruder was now aware of her presence. He turned to her and smiled. "Seems you've lost your touch, Kayo."
"Excuse me, I was distracted!" She froze. She knew that voice. But it couldn't be. "Jeff?"
Jeff smiled. "Hiya kiddo."
Kayo shook her head, it all seemed so unreal. "You can't be here. We all thought you were dead."
Jeff chuckled. "Held for ransom, yes. But not dead."
She frowned. "It was my uncle wasn't it?"
"You guessed it. Speaking of which, have the boys found out about that?" Jeff changed the subject. Kayo noticed but played along anyways.
"Yeah. He tried to take over Tracy Island. It got awkward. I had to lure him to Mateo Island and activate W.A.S.P."
Jeff smiled. "That's my girl. Do you like Thunderbird Shadow, by the way? It took ages for us to design."
"I love it. Finally get to do my own thing. I still go on some missions with Alan though."
"How is he? And the rest of my boys? They were so young last time I saw them. It's been so long." Jeff looked slightly anxious. Kayo understood the feeling. She knew all too well how hard it is when your family isn't there.
"He's fine. They're all fine." She paused, smiling slightly although her eyes betrayed her saddness. "We miss you though. Everyday."Sorry this was so crap. I just haven't really had much motivation to write recently. I'll do a part two at some point with the other Tracys reactions.
