This was requested by LittleLuna099 hope that it's ok! Also I might've taken slight inspiration from River Song and the Doctor flying the TARDIS at the start of Time of the Angels (the video above but it's better if you watch the whole thing)
"I'm a member of International Rescue, I think I can pilot a tiny submarine!"
You rolled your eyes. You'd known the Tracys since collage- ever since you and Gordon had met in marine biology class- and you were one of the very few people they trusted with the secret of International Rescue. You helped out sometimes with rescues but most of the time you worked trying to reduce polllution in the world's oceans. It was a tiring job but worth it. Kayo and you were very close, but Gordon was your best friend (and crush). Said best friend was now claiming he could pilot your own submarine better than you. Naturally, you challenged him to prove it. And so far, he was doing a terrible job of it. The tiny sub was spiralling out of control and Gordon was STILL refusing to listen to you.
"Use the stabilisers!"
"It doesn't have stabilisers!"
"The blue switches!"
"The blue switches don't do anything, they're just blue!"
You rolled your eyes. Sometimes, Gordon was a moron. "Yes, they're blue. They're the blue stabilisers!" You pushed him out of the way, took control of the ship and flicked said switches to prove your point. Almost instantly, the craft stopped spinning. "See?"
"Well, now it's just boring." Gordon replied, sulking.
You punched his arm playfully. "You are such an idiot."
He grinned. "You love me really."
Your reply was automatic. "True." As soon as the words left your mouth you instantly regreted it. Both of you froze. There was no point denying it. You closed your eyes and waited for the oncoming teasing. It didn't come.
Instead, you felt Gordon's lips on yours.
Apparently he liked you too.
That was unexpected.
Sorry this is so crap... and I took about 2 weeks to post it. School is utter shit but I've got a holiday soon so hopefully I'll get back to updating regularly. Thanks!
