Crumble, Cookies and Crushes

This wasn't requested but I was bored so...
Pairings: AlanxKayo mainly but loads of other couples as well.
Grandma was cooking. That was always was a bad sign. But tonight, she must have broken a world record for the worst dish ever. Normally her speciality dish was her trademark cookies that tasted like feet but today Kip Harris was coming round for dinner. She had been persuaded (with great difficulty) by Gordon and Virgil to order takeaway pizza instead of cooking her signiture meatloaf suprise but they couldn't stop her cooking dessert so she'd gone all out and made a disasterous apple crumble! The top was incinerated, the apples underneath were raw and she'd misread the instructions and added double the ammount of sugar! Not to mention the butter she'd used was out-of-date so it stank like rotten eggs. Lucky for them, Scott and Virgil were on a mission and Gordon was dog-sitting Sherbert (although everyone knew he was trying to impress Lady Penelope.) That left Alan to deal with Grandma stressing and looking for a test subject! Which was why he was now hiding under Jeff's desk and hoping Grandma wouldn't find him. Suddenly, someone slid in beside him. He almost screamed, but a hand clamped over his mouth. "Shut it, will you? Don't give us away, the last thing we need is food poisoning right now" Kayo hissed.
"Mhph!" Alan tried to answer her.
"Oh yeah, right. Sorry." She removed her hand so that Alan could speak again.
"You nearly gave me a heart attack! I thought you were on perimeter patrol!"
"I was. I came back a couple of minutes ago. Regreted not bringing a gas mask."
Alan laughed. He tried to ignore how his crush was so close he could feel her breath. Suddenly someone pulled the chair out and peeked under the desk at them. 'Oh great.' Alan thought. 'Grandma's gonna get upset because we're hiding from her'. "Grandma!" He spluttered. "It's not what it looks like!"
"Since when did you two become a couple?"
Kayo facepalmed.
