Chanyeol didn't know what he was doing.

Although Baekhyun had seen his message, he never replied.

So, when Chanyeol was on the bus that night, heading home, he least expected his phone to buzz in his pocket.

As Chanyeol panicked and fished for his phone, his only thought was; 'Why am I like this?'

He's panicking over a (possible) text from a highschool student. Who he knows very little about and has only known for about a week.

Chanyeol pulled his phone out and unlocked it, going straight to messages.

And just like he had predicted (more like hoped), there was a message from Baekhyun.

Hey are you free tomorrow?

Chanyeol was shocked. He knew the whole point was so they could get to know each other, but he thought this was going a little too fast.

But Chanyeol replied anyways, and without much thought.

Yes.

Chanyeol blinked before physically face palming when he realized that he was in fact, not entirely free tomorrow.

So he sent a quick back up text.

After work, of course.

Chanyeol waited for a reply. As he waited, he looked around the bus. Not very many people were on, which meant there were plenty of open seats.

And since he got distracted by his phone he didn't get to find a seat.

Taking this as his chance to do so, he moved to the back and sat down.

He ended up sitting in the same spot him and Baekhyun had sat.

The night he caught those bullies.

Now that Chanyeol thinks about it, he hasn't seen Baekhyun or those two since Wednesday.

He wasn't sure what was going on, but the words the red head said to him Wednesday night played in his mind. "Today, after all, is a special day for Baekhyun."

Chanyeol wasn't sure if that was good or bad but, either way, he was more confused on how those two knew.

They were his bullies, yet they seemed like they were close. Knowing Baekhyun's personal life and all.

Chanyeol felt his phone buzz in his hand and looked at the screen.

When do you get off?

Chanyeol thought. Since tomorrow is Sunday, he gets off earlier than the rest of the week. He works Monday through Saturday from early in the morning to late at night, Wednesdays he got off and Sundays he works half the day, only working morning shift.

Well, since tomorrow is Sunday, I'll be off about one pm.

Chanyeol hoped that was a good time frame. Because he didn't want to disappoint the smaller. Not because he wanted to go, of course not.
