Chanyeol felt awkward. He wasn't going to lie.Baekhyun had brought them to a small cafe. A place Baekhyun says he knows very well.
A place Chanyeol has never been to before. He was, after all, only staying for business. So, the roundabouts of the smaller town that he was staying in, was unusual for him.
He's used to the hustle and bustle of the larger city. Where most of the action happens.
So, a small and quiet corner cafe, albeit strange to Chanyeol's nature, is a place he could get used to.
Chanyeol's cheeks were burning while Baekhyun's hand was wrapped around Chanyeol's wrist, dragging him into the cafe.
Being too distracted by the heat of his cheeks and how soft Baekhyun's hand was, Chanyeol didn't get the chance to look around.
So, when he was pushed down into a seat and the hand on his wrist disappeared, along with his burning cheeks, he needed to take a minute to register what had just happened.
As Baekhyun's voice rang in his ears, he began to look around, observing the walls around him. The cafe was definitely small, the walls were white and the tables were squares. Chanyeol realized that he was sitting at the bar with Baekhyun next to him.
Chanyeol watched as Baekhyun spoke with a small smile.
Chanyeol, being curious as to who or what is making the younger smile so prettily, looked at what Baekhyun was looking at.
Chanyeol stared at the man in front of them. His eyes were small and his lips were curved into a smile. Chanyeol squinted as he read the name tag pinned onto the man's shirt.
Yixing.
Chanyeol's lips formed into a pout as he read the name. Yixing wasn't a korean name. At least not a common one.
Chanyeol snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a nudge, "Hyung, what do you want?" Baekhyun asked, causing Chanyeol to look at him, his face burning at the word "hyung".
"Uh, just a plain coffee, I guess." Chanyeol said. Baekhyun cocked his head, "Plain? You can handle that, hyung?" Chanyeol's heart sped up everytime Baekhyun allowed that word out of his mouth.
Chanyeol nodded, "Mhm." He hummed as he blushed.
"Ah, our plain coffee is strong here. Not many people can handle it. Do you want a bit to taste first?"
Chanyeol looked at the man behind the counter, a weird feeling bubbling in his stomach, the image of Baekhyun smiling so sweetly popping into his mind.
Chanyeol shook his head, "No. Just get me a cup of plain coffee."
Even Chanyeol could admit, that he seemed a bit like an asshole just then.
Yixing looked at Chanyeol with wide eyes, "Uh, yeah. Okay." Chanyeol watched as Yixing then turned to Baekhyun, a smile pulling on his lips, "And you, Baek?"
Baekhyun tore his eyes away from Chanyeol and looked at Yixing with a soft expression.
An act Chanyeol definitely noticed.
"I'll just get what I usually get." Baekhyun said as he placed his fingers on top of Yixing's hand which was placed on the couter.
He then slowly trailed his fingers down Yixing's, giving him a certain look.
One Chanyeol couldn’t read.
Either because the expression seemed void of emotion or because BAEKHYUN JUST RAN HIS FINGERS ACROSS SOME DUDE'S HAND!
