Two weeks have passed and the weather had drastically dropped. Now every morning, Chanyeol had to wear a thick coat when going outside. And although weeks have passed by, Chanyeol hasn't seen Baekhyun on the bus.
The only time he saw him on was when they had hung out together, which was evey Sunday for the past two weeks.
They hung out at the same place. The same corner cafe.
The past two Sundays, Chanyeol had learned a lot about the blonde haired boy.
And although their first time at the cafe was awkward, they seemed to really hit it off the past two times.
Chanyeol found out that Baekhyun's birthday was in May and that Baekhyun would be turning eighteen. A big number for teenagers. Chanyeol also found out that Baekhyun would be graduating next year as well.
Another thing Chanyeol found out about Baekhyun, is that Baekhyun seems like a person who is genuinely alone a lot.
It wasn't something Baekhyun had necessarily said that lead him to that conclusion. It was more of how Baekhyun acted and talked.
The idea made Chanyeol genuinely sad. Baekhyun offten seemed distant when it came to human interaction.
Another thing Chanyeol learned about the blonde, is that he has one of the cutest laughs ever.
He's never really heard Baekhyun laugh. Not a full hearty laugh. He's heard chuckles and giggles, which were cute as well.
But his laugh meant so much more. Had so much more emotion.
It made Chanyeol happy.
Chanyeol had noticed the changes Baekhyun had undergone as the weather began to change.
He noticed that Baekhyun also wore a bigger coat, though he never seemed to take his grey jacket off.
Chanyeol had also noticed that Baekhyun's hair had began to grow out, proof being that Baekhyun's natural brown roots had began to seep through.
His bangs had also began to peak over his eyes.
Chanyeol had also noticed that the two kids that seemed to cause Baekhyun trouble had slowly disappeared. He hasn't seen them on the bus either.
Chanyeol let out a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair.
It was currently Sunday afternoon and Chanyeol was waiting to board the bus.
And just like the past two Sundays, he's on his way to the cafe with Baekhyun.
Chanyeol won't lie, he felt as if he was on some sort of high. The thought of meeting Baekhyun agian, made his skin tingle.
Chanyeol was going to be honest, him and Baekhyun weren't exactly on the best of terms.
Yeah, the two may have opened up to each other a bit while at the cafe, but outside of that, they still seemed to be strangers.
Chanyeol shoved his hands into his coat pockets, shrinking into the warmth that hugged him. His breath puffing out into white clouds.
The sound of the bus engine lulled up beside Chanyeol. The breaks squeaking to a hault as the doors opened quickly, trying to quickly huddle everyone in for heating purposes.
As soon as Chanyeol gets on, he's met face to face with a certain blonde boy. Chanyeol looked down as Baekhyun stared up at him.
Their bodies were pressed together.
And, in that moment, neither seemed to care.
They stared into each other's eyes, their warm breath fanning over each other's faces. Both of their hands hidden in their coat pockets.
