The strong smell of coffee woke Chanyeol up from his hard sleep. As he sat up, he couldn’t help but notice the pain that pounded against his skull.Once Chanyeol realized that he wasn't in his bed, all the memories from the night before resurfaced in his mind.
He realized that the headache could be from all the crying he went through.
After Chanyeol had called his mom, he sat on the couch and waited for as long as he needed until Sehun returned home.
Chanyeol had only ended up waiting about fifteen minutes until the door knob jiggled.
He crossed his arms as he watched for Sehun to creep into the house.
And Sehun did creep into the house. Once the door opened up slowly and quietly, he practically tiptoed in and cautiously shut the door.
And the moment he saw Chanyeol sitting on the couch, he stopped, looking like a deer caught in headlights.
"Uhhh.." He trailed as he stared at Chanyeol. The taller could see the sweat beginning to form on Sehun's forehead.
Chanyeol only stood up and approached Sehun, snatching the keys and giving the younger a "we'll talk about this later" look and left out the same way Sehun had just come in from.
And as Chanyeol drove all the way to the main part of the city, he figured that Sehun's punishment will be the fact that he won't have the car for awhile.
As soon as Chanyeol made it to his mother's house, he let out a sigh and walked up, knocking on the door.
Almost instantly, the door swung open, revealing a small women.
The women that Chanyeol loved dearly.
And as soon as she came into his view, Chanyeol was hit with a huge wave of guilt and broke down into tears, right in the spot.
And, almost as if she was expecting it, his mother pulled him into a hug, with a smile on her face.
Chanyeol cried a lot that night, and his mother was with him the whole time.
He cried because he felt guilty for treating so many people in such a bad manner.
He cried because he missed his mom.
He cried because he felt exhausted.
And he cried because he felt heartbroken.
He poured all his emotions out to his mother, except anything that had to do with a certain blonde boy.
He followed the strong, captivating scent and made sure to grab a bottle of pain killers before making his way down the stairs.
As soon as he reached the bottom of the steps, he was greeted by a warm hug, "Morning honey. Did you sleep well?" The soothing voice of his mother, eased into his ears.
Chanyeol hugged back and smiled slightly before shaking the bottle, "Good. I just need these." He said as he pulled away from his small mom.
"Oh, okay. I've made you some coffee, my son."
Chanyeol nods as a thanks and follows his mother out to the kitchen. As soon as he made his way to the cup of coffee that sat on the counter, he noticed the great big tree that stood in the living room.
He looked over and noticed all the bright lights and hanging decorations.
That's right. A Christmas tree.
...
WAIT A CHRISTMAS TREE?!
Chanyeol quickly turned back to his mother with wide eyes, "What day is it?"
