He couldn’t believe he was really going out like this. He had never been on a plane before. Hell he's never really been out of his own city before.Chanyeol had told him to start packing early since the two of them would have to attend a company dinner.
Baekhyun finished his packing that same day he got invited. Part of it was because he was so excited. Another reason was because he didn't have much he needed to pack. It was pretty much just clothes.
It was Friday and Chanyeol had told him he needed to dress formally for the dinner.
Except, Baekhyun had nothing of the sort. For he never had a reason to wear a suit.
He spent all morning deciding on what to tug out of his closet, but nothing seemed to be expensive enough.
His mind wandered as he nibbled his lip. He wondered if his father would have any suits.
Baekhyun remembers the time when his dad wore one everyday to work. He remembers how handsome and sharp his father used to be. How he smiled every morning and ruffled Baekhyun's hair right before he left for work. His father used to be good. And he remembers that time so vividly, it hurts. For he knows he'll never get those times back.
He's picking at his nails as he waddles hesitantly towards the door to his father's bedroom.
He sure his father is still inside, where else would he be?
Backhyun felt his stomach twist as he stood there, right outside the door of the beast. His heart ran fast in a flight response.
He shook his head. He couldn't do it and he wouldn't force himself to. Not for something silly like a suit.
He visibly shook as he sulked back to his own room.
He didn't know what to do, he couldn't contact Chanyeol, his phone was broken and he had no other way to reach him.
He could try showing up at Chanyeol's job, but Chanyeol had told him that he probably won't be there since he'll be packing and getting ready for the dinner.
He let out a sigh and plopped down on his bed.
Chanyeol was pacing back and forth in his room. He was already dressed and packed. Even if he was five hours early, he couldn't help but feel excited.
He wondered how Baekhyun was going to get there. He really didn't want to make Baekhyun walk nor have to ride the bus.
He didn't have a way to reach Baekhyun and make a plan for him to get picked up.
Chanyeol already arranged everything with Sehun in terms of who's using the car.
To which Sehun replied, "You'll be leaving soon anyways. I'll have to learn to live without your car, so you should just take it from now on."
It was strange and Chanyeol wasn't quite sure what Sehun meant by that. Hell, he even asked if Sehun could drop him and Baekhyun off at the airport.
Chanyeol was stressing. He wanted to make sure Baekhyun made it there safely, and that he made it there comfortably.
After a long debate with himself, Chanyeol let out an annoyed grunt as he changed clothes and put on some more casual items.
He then rushed down the stairs and straight towards the door, completely ignoring Sehun and Luhan making out.
He figured what he was doing could easily be a waste of time. He was simply taking a chance.
But, he figured that if there's any place he can relay on, it'd be the bus.
