Chanyeol was happy to discover that Baekhyun was going to be riding the bus everyday that week. He had to admit that the moment at the convenience store had opened up a whole new door for him.He remembers as the two of them sat there, heads pressed together. Chanyeol had even layed his hand against Baekhyun's nape, holding the smaller in place, though Baekhyun didn't make any sign that he wanted to move away.
Baekhyun had stared wide eyes while Chanyeol basked in the moment, his eyes closed and his breathing steady.
He wanted to do it again.
In fact, he wouldn't mind staying like with Baekhyun forever.
He ended up late that day, but he didn't care, it meant he got to help the blonde.
He also got news that he'd have next week off for Christmas, which also happens to align with Baekhyun's Christmas break.
The information made Chanyeol's heart skip, for that meant they could spend the whole week together. Chanyeol did, after all, promise Baekhyun an amazing Christmas.
Usually, Chanyeol visits his family for the winter holiday, but he's sure his family will understand this year.
It was currently Friday morning and Chanyeol was happily getting ready for work. He managed to find another yellow shirt and pair of ripped jeans and decided to wear that for today.
He was going to be honest. It definitely felt better wearing casual clothing than professional while at work. He felt more at home and comfortable with his surroundings.
Chanyeol decided that he should fill his closet with yellow shirts and jeans since he recalls Baekhyun complimenting his outfit after their visit to the convenience store.
"I really like your outfit." Baekhyun had said shyly as he tugged slightly on Chanyeol's yellow T.
"I really like the yellow with the jeans. I don't know why. I always have I guess." He said with the smallest of smiles.
And so, Chanyeol had decided he would dress to impress.
He had gotten ready like normal and made his way to the bus stop. The air was cold and the snow was packed high in mounds of glitter that shimmered under the rays of the sun.
The clouds hadn't gotten dark yet, which Chanyeol was thankful for, dark days usually meant sad living.
Chanyeol wasn't going to lie, he felt depressed when it was certain weather. When the air was cold and the sky was grey and the people could breathe in gloom, he usually didn't feel as lively.
But when the sun was out and it was warm and the atmosphere was welcoming, he seemed to be more happy.
The bus had pulled up, making the usual squeak and the doors opening, revealing the chatter from inside.
As soon as Chanyeol entered he was met with a smiling Baekhyun. Chanyeol blinked but smiled back, "Good morning." Chanyeol whispered as his heart pounded, a usual action whenever he was around Baekhyun.
"Morning." Baekhyun responded his eyes bright and his smile wide. He stared straight into Chanyeol's dark orbs.
And without much thought, but so much pull, Baekhyun let himself onto Chanyeol's chest, wrapping his arms around the taller. The action catching Chanyeol off gaurd.
Baekhyun had buried his face in Chanyeol's coat against his chest and breathed in Chanyeol's scent.
Chanyeol hesitantly returned the favor and wrapped his arms around the blonde.
