Things had definitely changed between the two. And both would agree that things had changed for the best.Currently, the two had decided to leave their relationship status without a lable. Still not being entirely sure on what to call themselves.
Not even a full forty-eight hours have passed since their first kiss and the two are acting like deprived lovers. Except, they're both extremely shy when displaying any sort of affection.
The kiss was a sign that they both felt the same way for each other. That both were willing to take another step in furthering their relationship. To which Chanyeol was glad Baekhyun took that step first, meaning Chanyeol no longer had to wait or feel afraid to take that step.
He was glad Baekhyun led them there.
And while the two were completely satisfied with the kiss and the two had absolutely no regrets, the only thing that kept the two from being free with each other, was embarrassment.
It was something trivial, and something that'll easily be overcome through time, but in the moment, it was something that drove the two crazy.
There were things they wanted to do, but they were too shy to do so.
Chanyeol wanted to spend every second with Baekhyun in his presence.
Chanyeol was the type to think about the future, especially now, when it came to Baekhyun being in his life.
He wanted to shower Baekhyun with love all the time, any time, any place. He didn't care. He was the type to make a public statement that he has Baekhyun all to himself, just as Baekhyun has him only.
He was one who got a bit too excited over things.
But, his timidity got the best of him.
Baekhyun on the other hand, is quite the opposite.
He wants to make sure things are completely set in place and stable before he'd tell a soul anything.
And in terms of affection, he's the type who'll perform subtle movements.
Actually, something that he's always wanted to do with the one he liked, whenever he found that person, was to hold hands.
Baekhyun was quite the cheesy romantic type. He was easily swayed by cute, discreet dates on the beach. Small pecks on the forehead and cheeks. Receiving notes from his 'significant other'. Cuddling and watching a movie. And of course, constantly holding hands.
To him, holding hands was the simplist form of showing everyone that the two of you are special to each other, but it was nothing overwhelming like kissing and hugging.
Or wearing matching shirts, like the classic 'hers' and 'his' couple shirts.
In fact, Baekhyun finds that quite cringy.
Its been less than two days and Baekhyun already had to catch himself a few times.
After they ended their sacred moment, the two awkwardly made their way back to the room.
Chanyeol was at a loss for words while Baekhyun was freaking out over the fact that he completely made the first move all on his own.
Now, he believes that it's proof that he must really like Chanyeol.
Once in the room, Baekhyun managed to convince Chanyeol to continue practicing the piano, his voice quiet when doing so.
Chanyeol gave in without any sort of refusal.
Chanyeol's hands were visably shaky as they hovered over the black and white keys.
Baekhyun frowned when he realized Chanyeol was too nervous to play, his meekness was overbearing him.
