"Leia, do you want to play something with me now?" Vivi asked as soon as I came back downstairs.

"No, I wanna play with Leia now!" Ben pouted.

"I asked her first." Vivi looked at her brother.

"But I wanna play with her too!" Ben looked as if he was about to cry as I walked over.

"Hey, I will play with both of you. What should we play?"

"Can we watch a movie?"

"You have to ask your mom first." I explained and Vivi stormed off to ask her mom.

"Do you know which movie you want to watch?" I asked Ben. He nodded and pulled out a dvd from a shelf next to the tv.

"This one." He held it in front of me so I could see what it was. I never heard of it but I agreed to it anyways. Vivi came back and confirmed that we were allowed to watch the movie so we got comfortable on the sofa together.

We were halfway through the movie as my phone vibrated. I checked it and saw I had a new message. I smiled as I read Shawn's name on the display so I quickly opened it.

Shawn: 'tomorrow sounds perfect. Should I pick you up? At 2pm?'

"Excuse me for a moment, I have to ask your mom something." I got up from the couch and made my way into the kitchen were Bethany was already cooking dinner.

"Bethany?"

"Yes?"

"Do you have something planned for tomorrow? I wanted to go explore the city a little."

"That's fine with me, just please be home for dinner" she smiled.

"Okay great, thank you."

"Have fun."

"Thanks." I walked out and texted Shawn back.

Me: 'yes that's perfect. I can't wait for tomorrow!'

I quickly texted him the address before I returned to the kids in the living room.

After the movie was over it was already time for dinner. Bethany made pasta and it tasted delicious. We talked a lot and I got to know my host parents more. Bethany was a teacher in a high school and Tom was a banker. Since it was still summer break for Bethany she was home all day to watch the kids so I didn't had to start wokring withing the next week. After dinner the twins got ready for bed and Vivian disappeared into her room to go play something by herself before she had to go to bed as well.

I entered my room and changed into a pair of sweatpants before I flopped down onto the bed. I unlocked my phone and checked my instagram before I got a new text.

Emilie👭❤: 'heyy, how's Canada? I miss youuu❤'

I smiled at it and decided to just facetime her instead. She quickly picked up and I smiled at my best friend.

"Heyy."

"Hey, how are you?"

"I'm good. But I can't sleep."

"What time is it?"

"Almost midnight. What about you?"

"We just finished dinner. Oh my god I have to tell you something! You will never believe what happened yesterday!"

"What??"

I told her about Shawn, I just had to. We talked almost two hours about everything going on in our lives right now until I noticed her getting tired.

"I'm going to sleep now. Good night!"

"Okay, good night. I'll talk to you tomorrow." She nodded and then we hung up. I plugged in my phone to charge before I went to the bathroom to get ready to head to bed. After I changed into my pajamas I crawled into the warm bed and grabbed my book. I laid down onto my stomach and got comfortable. I turned to the page that was marked where I had stopped the last time and started reading. Even though I was completely fixed onto the story I soon grew tired, the jetlag still hitting on me. Just a few pages later my head sunk down onto the book as my eyes were closed tightly and I was fast asleep.
