"Where are you going?" Skylar asked me as I put on my shoes at the front door.

"I'm meeting with, uh, a friend. He will show me the city." I explained and put on my jacket.

"Oh, okay."

"Do you wanna do something together when I come back?" She nodded, smiling shyly at me.

"Okay then. I'll see you later. Good bye Sky." I hugged her softly.

"Bye bye." She waved at me as I opened the door and walked out. I stood on the sideway, waiting for Shawn to pick me up. I was quite nervous, I mean, I'm going to meet my idol again.

Soon a black jeep appeared in my sight and slowed down as it came closer. Holy shit, this is really happening right now! The car stopped in front of me and I stepped closer to open the door. I climbed in and Shawn smiled at me.

"Hey, how are you?"

"H-Hi uh I'm great thank you. Oh my god I can't believe I'm in a car with Shawn Mendes! Sorry. I'm still not over the fact that you really wanna show me around. I'm literally living the dream of the whole mendes army. Damn I'm talking to much, I'm sorry, I should just shut up!" I rambled on. What's wrong with me, I never talk that much around someone I just met?

Shawn just laughed at me and started driving after I put on my seatbelt. I looked out the window, silence filling the car until Shawn turned on the radio. Some song I never heard before was playing but it soon came to an end. A new song started and I immediately recognized it and gasped.

"I love this!" I turned the radio a little bit louder as Shawn's voice rang out of the speakers.

"Oh my god are you serious?" he laughed nervously and I nodded, grinning at him.

"Is it weird for you to hear yourself on the radio all the time?"

"At the beginning, yes. But I got used to it after a while. Still, the coolest thing is when I'm in another country and they're playing my songs on the radio."

I soon started singing along quietly. Shawn joined in and I had to hold myself back from screaming.

"Baby there's nothing holdin' me back..." he hit the high notes perfectly and I couldn't help but stare at him, amazed by his voice.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he noticed me staring.

"N-Nothing. Your voice is just so beautiful." I admitted and he started blushing lightly. 'Dang, I made Shawn Mendes blush' I smiled to myself

"Thank you so much!"

As Shawn stopped the car at a red traffic light I pulled out my phone to check the time.

"Nice homescreen!" Shawn said out of nowhere and I furrowed my eyebrows. He pointed at my phone and I looked down on it. Of course I had a picture of him as my background.

"Oh..." before I could say anything else Shawn started talking again.

"Okay, we're now almost in the centre of Toronto."

I looked around excited. The tall buildings around us, blue, clear sky above and the sun shining bright. I took everything in and smiled. The windows were down so I stuck out my head and let the cool wind hit my face.

"You like it?"

"I love it. Oh my god I dreamt for this for almost a year and now I'm here, I can't believe it!" I grinned happily.

"I'm sorry, I would love to show you more without the car but there are paparazzi everywhere and I don't want them to take photos of us and following us around all day." He sighed.

"It's okay. I'm sure I will come back here with my host family sometimes."

"How is your host family? Went everything okay?"

"Yes, everything went really good. They are all so nice and I really like them."

"That's good to hear."

"Oh and one of the kids is a huge fan of you too." he laughed and continued driving somewhere.

We spent almost the whole day together, talking and driving around. Shawn asked a lot about me and I told him about my home and my life. I really enjoyed the time with him. He made me laugh a lot and talk like we would know each other for years. Normally I was the complete opposide. I always was the shy and quiet girl that would always be nice to each other but never talk that much. I had a few friends and I could do everything with them. When I was around them I was another human, I was laughing and talking and we would do crazy things together. With Shawn it felt the same. I opened up to him after knowing him for just a few days. I still wasn't used to being around him and sometimes had these little fangirl moments but I didn't care about that. All I knew was, that I wanted to spend more time with him. I wanted us to be friends and I think Shawn felt the same since I was still in his car.

"I think I should get home soon. It's almost time for dinner and I promised Skylar to play with her before bed." I told Shawn.

We arrived at my house and he stopped the car.

"It was really nice seeing you again. I had fun today!" Shawn smiled at me.

"Me too. I really enjoyed it."

"I should also get home now. I'll text you, okay?"

"Okay." I got out of the car and closed the door. Shawn waved and drove off as I made my way into the house.
