“I think I have to go get home soon.“ I said after checking the time.

“No problem, I will drop you off before I head to the studio!“ together we quickly washed the dishes before heading out to Shawn's car.

On the way home we played some music and I watched the now white city around us. I loved the snow and it always made me really happy. We quickly arrived at my house and I waved at Shawn before he drove off and I ran over to the door. I quickly opened it and head inside the warm room.

“Leia! Look, it's finally snowing!“ Sky greeted me.

“I know hunny, isn't it beautiful?“

“Can we go outside? I wanna build a snowman! Can we please build a snowman?“

“Of course, let me change real fast and then I'm ready. You go and get your warmest winter jacket and boots, okay?“ Sky nodded her head and run off calling for her mother. I got changed into some warm clothes and waited downstairs for Sky and Ben, who also wanted to come with us. After everyone was ready we got out into the backyard and I watched the twins run away into the snow. Sky immediately started rolling little balls so she could build her snowman and I went over to help her while Ben was running around in the snow.

Just as we finished the snowman Bethany called us inside for dinner. The kids immediately ran into the warm house and I also made my way back inside. Soon we all sat around the big table and started eating.

After dinner the twins took a quick bath before bed and I read them a good night story but they were too tired to listen to me and immediately fell asleep. I turned off the light and walked back down into the living room, sitting down with Beth and Tom on the sofa. We started watching a movie Vivi picked since she was still up. She cuddled into my side and I had my arms around her when my phone buzzed. Vivi was too focused on the movie so I quickly checked it.

Shawn: 'I have a surprise for you! See you tomorrow and dress warm.'

I let out a light chuckle and answered him before putting my phone away again.

The movie was soon over and Vivi asleep so we all decided to go to bed.

I woke up the next morning from a knock on my door.

“Come in.“ I yawned and heard the door open.

“Why are you still in bed? It's already 11:30 am!“ A voice said.

“What's the problem? It's the weekend.“

“The problem is that I have a surprise for you and you're not ready!“

“I'm sorry, but you didn't say anything about what time I should be ready!“ I turned to look at Shawn. He just rolled his eyes and walked over to my closet. He pulled out some clothes for me to wear and then looked at me.

“Now come on, get up!“ I finally got out of the bed and grabbed the clothes from him before disappearing into the bathroom. I changed and quickly got ready while Shawn waited for me.

“Okay, I'm ready, let's go!“ He nodded and opened the door for me. We put on our shoes by the front door and I was about to walk out but Shawn held me back.

“Wait a second. Put these on!“ he held some gloves and a scarf in his hands.

“Trust me, you'll need them!“ he said as he saw my sceptical face. I sighed and put them on. Shawn smiled and finally we could leave. He led me to his car and opened the door for me again.

“Thank you.“ he just smiled and got in on his side, staring the car. He pulled out of the driveway while I looked for some music to play.

“Where are we going?“ I asked after a while.

“That's a surprise!“
