Chapter 12: Back to normal

Akira P.O.V:

I hadn't realized I had fallen back asleep until I was awoken to hushed bickering. Slowly, I opened my eyes and looked over to where the noise was coming from. I saw Uno, Jyugo, Nico, and Rock standing in a small circle, their arms wrapped around each other.

They honestly looked like a football team making a game plan. I looked around to see the restraints still on me, Hajime standing on the wall across from me smirking when he noticed I was awake. Giving him a small smile I mouthed 'thank you' to him, he had helped me realize that I was being dumb and ignorant.

A small gasp caught my attention, looking to where the sound came from I locked eyes with Nico. A large grin plastered on his face as he hopped over Rock and jumped onto my bed. Engulfing me in a bear hug he buried his face into the crook of my neck.

"Aki-chan!!!! Your finally awake!! We were starting to get worried about you!" He hollered into my ear. A smile made its way to my lips as I looked down at him, not being able to return the hug due to my restraints I rested my head atop his shoulder.

"I'm glad to be back.. I'm sorry I tried to escape, I thought that if I left there wouldn't be anymore problems. But there weren't any problems to begin with." I said laughing slightly at the end. I looked to everyone else and smiled at them.

"I'm just glad your back to normal. You started worrying me when you stopped eating." Rock said looking at me with a large grin. I visibly cringed when I saw Uno twitch, struggling with my restraints I tried to get out but to no avail. Uno looked at me as he switched into mom mode, this had happened a couple of times and each time he would end up scolding me for an hour. Finally I broke the steel bands on one arm, quickly I pried my other arm out of the restrains. Quickly I sat up and bent the metal off of my legs, Jumping out of the bed and ran to Hajime. I was caught by the back of my collar causing me to stop suddenly and choke.

"Did Rock just say you weren't eating. I swear, I'm in the hospital for a week and you start doing dumb stuff. If you ever blah blah blah blah blah." Uno began to rant, placing me back on the bed and crossing his arms at me. I anime cried as I looked to everyone else for help, they all just looked at us with a sweat drop, laughing slightly.

A few hours later~~~

"-and if you don't get the proper nutrition you could get sick! We can't have that happening now can we missy. I hope you realize that starving yourself is the worst and you should never do it again." Uno finished, glaring down at me with his arms still crossed. I nodded feeling my soul exit my body from having to sit here for so long and listen to him.

Everyone else had already left, getting bored of hearing Uno scold me. Even Hajime was gone, I think he left after about an hour. I jumped slightly when he pulled me into a hug, his head buried into my shoulder, one hand on my back and the other on the back of my head.

"But seriously, don't do that again. I wouldn't know what to do if you had gotten sick." He said softly into my ear.

"I won't do it again. But you have to promise me not to do what you did back at the New Years Tournament. I would have been able to catch Jyugo's blade and not gotten hurt, you got gravely injured trying to protect me. Just don't do it again." I say wrapping my arms around him and played with his long undone hair.

"Alright alright, I won't do it again. I just wanted to save my princess from harms way." He said letting go of me and giving me a wide smile. Returning it I hopped off the bed and signaled for him to follow me.

"Let's get back to the cell now. I think its time for lunch, wouldn't wanna miss it." I walk out of the infirmary with Uno beside me. Making our way back to the cell we find Rock looking at todays menu, Nico watching anime, and Jyugo looking at a wall with a bored expression on his face. They looked at us when we entered the cell, large grins plastered on Nico's and rock's face.
