Tbh, I'm just trynna get all these updates out so we can start these sequels, cause I'm just uhh at the moment. 🙃

"Shawnette. Leave me alone." I rolled my eyes as I walked throughout my home.

"You had lunch with her and lied about it? You think that shits okay? I don't walk around lying to you, yet you sit and have lunch with the next bitch?"

Stopping, I turned around. "She's not a bitch."

"Oh you stepping for lil mama now?"

My eyes narrowed. "Shawn, what the fuck does that even mean?"

She rolled her eyes at me. "It means you're defending her now. That's what it means."

"Okay yeah." I turned back around and continued my journey. "I'm not having this conversation."

"You never want to have—."

Cutting her off, I spoke gently even though my irritation was growing rapidly. "Let's not start. Please?"

"No J, you cannot just not talk about this shit. I knew you wanted her back. You should have just told me Janet! We need to talk about this!"

Here we go with her insecurities about Aja.

"ANGEL-DUST!" I yelled out our safe word as I looked at my girlfriend.

Shawnette shot me a look. "Oh I know you did not just safe word me Janet Damita Jo Jackson."

"I did." I replied. "So like discussed, when the word is used, we drop the conversation."

"Bullshit." Shawn mumbled and I heard her walk away from me. "Whatever. I'm out."

Seconds later, I heard my front door slam shut and I knew that she was gone. I also knew that Gil would be calling me sooner than later about the situation.

Grabbing my phone, I texted Aja.

To: Aja King
Why did Shawn just find out about our lunch and flip her script? I'm super irritated.

The message was read almost as soon as I sent it and Aja texted back.

Aja King
Why? Didn't tell the woman we went out to eat?

Rolling my eyes at the question, I responded.

To: Aja King
Did you tell Amelia?

Aja King
Call her that again and I'm not gonna text you back! Also, no, at first I lied to her but then I felt bad and told her the truth. Even though she already knew I had lied.

To: Aja King
Damn it, I prolly should have taken that route.

Aja King
Definitely. Isn't your tour starting in like 8 days? Why you stressing?

Aja and I have been communicating since she's been in New York. We always text, and it's always over random things. Which we both don't understand.

Still, I think that she keeps up with me because she knows how anxious I get when I do certain things sometimes. And I was terribly anxious about this first performance. It had to be perfect.

I'm not stressing... just irritated.

Well stop being irritated. Where's your first stop on the first leg?
