My phone was in my hand as I looked at pictures of Mariah.

I studied her before my fathers voice echoed in my head.

Remember to look at the eyes.

Her eyes, they are dark. Brown to be specific.

She was the one my father had warned me so harshly of. She was brown eyes.

Who was my brown eyes? My father said it was two people. Maybe it was Alex, she did try and kiss me. Had I already passed my test?

"Get up!" Chanel, my sister, yelled at me as she came in my room and yanked the covers off of me.

I was curled up in a ball and didn't plan on moving. It had been 6 days since Janet and I's break up and I was truly unhappy with life itself right now.

"Leave me alone, Chanel." I cut my phone off.

"No." She objected. "Get up! You've been in this house for too long. Shake back sis, plus someone's here to see you."

"And I have to get up for them to see me?" I questioned as I rolled my eyes.

Chanel smacked her lips. "Yes!"

Sighing, I tossed on my other side and looked at Chanel. "Get out and tell them if they don't wanna talk to me in this room then they can get out as well."

"Rude ass." Another voice cut in. "Chanel, can you give us a second please?" When Chanel left the room, she shut the door and spoke to me. "Get your ass up, Aja."

I rolled my eyes knowing it was Alexandria as I pulled my covers up over my body again.

"Leave me alone, Alexandria."

"Get. Up!" She yanked the covers away from me for the second time today and laid on top of me.

"Get off of me!" I yelled at her as I tried to roll over but she grabbed my arms and pulled me up with her.

"Look, I understand that you cared for her. Might have even loved her, but Aja, she made a decision and she has to live with the consequences that you provide. You can't beat yourself up because there is nothing that you could have done."

I sighed. "Who called you?"

"Chanel." She responded. "Now get up. Seriously. Get dressed. Come on, I have to show you something."

"Where are we going?" I asked her as I got up. "Do I have to go outside?"

"Just come on." She mumbled to me. "And yes."

Getting up, I threw on a set of my sweats and put my Ugg boots on as I simply combed my hair out. I put my phone in my pocket.

I followed her down the steps and sucked my teeth when I came face to face with Chanel, Shawn, Karla and then to top it off Alex.
