🌻 | chapter 1 - PREVIEW | 🌻

a/n — bc i really felt like posting something, but the actual chapter itself is not complete yet, so why not give you guys a preview of something

❝...Scratching his head whilst grabbing the device to check the time; 9:30 am, in a big white font revealed itself. The male turned wide eyes, cursing as he dropped the phone on the bed and shot up to his feet running towards the bathroom to freshening up.

After washing his face, brushing his teeth, and putting in some effort to style his hair he rushed out of the bathroom, this time heading towards the closet filled with unorganized clothes. He found a clean uniform and threw it on, he looked through the closet once more for clean casual clothes before stuffing them into a bag. He didn't bother making his bed, instead grabbed his phone and charger proceeding to shove the charger in the bag and the phone into his pocket. Then he walked around the room and made his way to a surprisingly clean vanity area, scanning for a decent cologne to put on, once done so he snatched the closest pair shoes he saw which were a pair of black and white Nike Huaraches and slipped them on while trying to go out through the door. Going out the door led him into the living room which also had the kitchen area, grabbing an apple for 'breakfast' off the kitchen counter along with his keys and dashed through the door locking it before leaving.

He was now in his car, driving as fast as he could but still trying to be safe. He glanced to look at the time; 10:05 am. He grunted as he hit his head against the headrest closing his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again focused on the traffic in front of him.

After what felt like hours, he was nearing his workplace. The building was coming into sight, he slowed down to make a right turn into the parking lot, finding a pretty decent spot and parked his car. He took his bag that was sitting in the passenger seat in his hands and swung it over his shoulder and closed the door followed by locking the vehicle and walked into the building.

Upon opening the door, a bell that was attached to the top portion of the door chimed notifying the crowd of people who were already inside that another individual joined them. But the people could care less as they were more interested in their phones, or the person that they're conversing with, indistinctive chatter filled the building.

The man walked over to the counter where he saw his Boss was standing, he bit his lip before speaking. Before getting his chance to voice his words, the Boss looked up from the papers he had been reading and filling in. He squinted his eyes at the male in front of him and tsk in a dissatisfied way. "Namjoon-ah, you're late.." He said before looking down at his watch checking the time, "..it's 10:25 am, you're 50 minutes late." He glared...❞
