Aditya awoke in the early hours of the morning, Zoya's hair was splayed over his chest and arm, he hated how all night she had shook in his arms, so taken over by her fear that once again she would be hurt. In all honesty, he had no regret of how he had spoken to her father, someone needed to keep her safe and he wanted to be that person

Zoya rolled away from him and sat up, patting her hair, she let out a yawn, looking over at him from the corner of her eye, he always seemed so calm, but there was always calm before the storm. "Aren't the police coming to speak to me today"

Aditya shook his head "The case was open and shut really, no one really cares about it, so they kind of let it go" he left out the fact that he had paid them to stay away, Zoya didn't need anymore stress in her life

She blinked slowly "Oh, okay, sorry for asking"

"You don't ever need to be sorry for asking me something, I want you to be comfortable with me" Aditya stood up "I have an event tonight that I can't get out of, if you want to come with me, you can or you can stay here"

Zoya hated making decisions, if ever she made the wrong one she knew what would happen next "What would you like me to do" her brown orbs glanced up into his

"I would like you to do what you want, but if you want my opinion, an event would be more entertaining with you by my side" he dug his hands into his grey trouser pockets, being around her was like an addiction, and if he could, he'd take her everywhere

She nodded "Okay, i'll come with you then" she stood up, walking towards her suitcase

"You know you can unpack right"

Her hair whipped around as she turned "Really"

"This house is as much yours as it is mine, change the room around if you like" he threw his hand in a 'do as you like' gesture, anything to make her happy, anything to just see her smile, Aditya wanted to give her all the luxuries of life, for him she was his Queen. He would never forget when he had first met her

The mall was crowded with many people, Aditya was tired, too tired to even focus properly on his surroundings. He hated shopping, but some situations called for it. He raised his foot to step forward when a woman came to a halt on her knees right before him

She raised her head, eyes teary, cheeks red with embarrassment. She was beautiful, but why was she crying? "S-s-sorry" she raised herself up then began to pick the bags up

Aditya bent down to help her, his fingers momentarily rubbed across her hand and she fell back "These are a lot of bags, you want some help". He frowned when she shook her head "Well can I atleast have your name"

"Zoya" her voice broke "My name is Zoya" then she was stood up, the many bags in her hands "Thank you for the help, I have to go now" loose strands of hair fell from her bun when she turned to face a man

"There you are Zoya, what took you so long" he gripped her arm making her grit her teeth "Did you get everyone's presents" he looked into the bag at the broken ornament "What a waste of money, now look, come on get it out"

Zoya looked down at the broken glass, biting her tounge as she put her hand in the bag only to have it taken out by Aditya

"It was my fault, not hers" he picked it out, throwing it into the bin

Zoya looked up gratefully though very confused "Yash, I"

"What do you say to the man" Yash poked her back making her step forward

"Thank you" and then she was being dragged away again, he knew then something wasn't quite right, and he intended to find out what

Zoya stood up with some clothes in her hands "What time should I be ready for"
