Everyone gathered to watch the latest rounds of the Tournament with (Y/N) performing background music; some Kabuki had been ordered to replace the missing band members.
(Y/N) noticed that one particular Kabuki was annoyingly familiar and the irony that they were dress as one of Chen's courtesans wasn't lost on her.
(Y/N) just let out a frustrated sigh and ready for the next performance. As long as she didn't cause any problems (Y/N) would keep her mouth shut.
The first round started starting with Griffin Turner the Master of Speed vs Gravis the Master of Gravity. The Master of Speed was the winner.
Next was Neuro the Master of Mind vs Bolobo the Master of Nature. The Master of Mind was victorious and then came the one that the ninja were most interested in Kai the hotheaded Master of Fire, vs Ash the Master of Smoke.
Kai was Ash were on a rope and wooden bridge over a river of Lava the Jade Blade was in the middle of the bridge.
(Y/N) was giggling to herself about the fact that Chen had stacked the odds against Kai in such a way it was all most poetic. "This Chen isn't as dumb as he seems." (Y/N) thought to herself.
"Hothead is going to set that on fire for sure." (Y/N) chuckled set up for the next song.
"Kai Master of Fire vs Ash Master of Smoke! Fight!" Master Chen shouted and one of the Kabuki struck the gong.
Kai at first tried to run straight for the blade. But the Master of Smoke rocked the bridge and Kai tumbled off, barely able to hang on with one hand with the lava bubbling away underneath him.
The Jade Blade slid off the bridge and embed itself in a rock below.
The Master of Smoke continued to run across the bridge as Kai climbed under the bridge.
"Come on, Kai, you can do it!" Lloyd shouted to his teammate.
