Song: Back to December by Taylor Swift

Kierra's POV

I stand frozen to the spot ignoring the fact that Vincent is clutching my hand firmly.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you," Amber says smiling.

I stare at the pair of them disgusted.

How could Nathan marry a girl like Amber?

A girl he cheated with.

Wrenching my hand from Vincent's and grabbing my purse I storm out of the restaurant.

My phone is exploding with text messages as I storm down the hallway stepping into my hotel room.

Slamming the door shut I breathe deeply.

Eyes watering I smash the photo of Nathan and me, when we were kids.

My lucky charm.

Ignoring the knocks and voices coming from the other side of the hotel room I climb into my bed fully clothed, heels and all.

Closing my eyes I welcome sleep.

My eyes open to the fact that my dress is pushing into my side.

It's 4 in the morning.

Sighing I recall the events of last night.

Removing my smudged makeup, I change into a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt.

I need fresh air to clear my head.

Stepping out into the dim hallway I walk toward the elevator.

"Kierra?"

It's Vincent.

I stand still waiting patiently until the elevator door opens.

I step in.

"Kierra?"

I hear footsteps running down the hallway.

I click the close button.

Vincent sprints down the hallway making it in at the last second.

I step away from him closing my eyes.

"Strange, huh?" Vincent asks awkwardly. "Nathan and Amber?"

I remain icily silent.

"You still have feelings for him," Vincent states.

I still don't say anything letting a silent tear roll down my cheek.

"I don't, I moved on," I say fiercely as the elevator door opens. "We never had a relationship, he can go do whatever the fuck he wants. I'm pretty sure a slut like Amber will be cheating on him in a week."

Vincent doesn't look at me, he looks at the two people waiting to get into the elevator.

It's Nathan and Amber.

And they've most obviously overheard our conversation.

Stepping out of the elevator I walk past them nose in the air.

Alex's POV

I stand at the edge of the roof of the hotel.

Jump.

You'll be dead.

Everyone will be happy.

Jump.

It'll be over.

Painless.

Jump.

"No," I whisper willing myself not to.
