Chapter 13: Operation: Pandemic Pt.2

(A/n): I forgot Lion and Finka on the last chapter but they're also here to deal with the threats, also I might have mixed up apex and smasher.

(Y/n) POV

Flashback

I was tied to a chair, a man in a lab coat approached me with a syringe filled with a blue substance, he injected me with it. I felt a sudden loss in self control and surge in strength, I broke the restraints and grabbed the man by the throat with one hand and crushed his windpipe, I dropped him to the ground, he gasped for air and then die. Through the glass, I could see two men.

Cooper:" What do you think boss"

Boss:" Good, very good."

Flashback ends

Abruptly, my vision started darkening and I look down to see that my injury had opened up and bleeding even worse than before.

Everyone:" (Y/n)!!!"

Time skip 

My eyes opened. I was on a medical bed in a shirt and jeans. A heart beat monitor was on the right side of my bed, on the left was a blood transfusion iv kit linked to my left arm. I looked around, Ela was sleeping comfortably on a chair, 'Seems like she kept watch over me'. I sat up and felt an immense pain. I stretched my arms and yawned. Gustave (Doc) entered the tent.

Doc:" You're up, let me take that off for you"

He moved closer and started to remove the iv kit and stitched up my arm, he then gestured at my injury.

Doc:"I have stitch that up real good this time. Also, your stuff is in the armory, to the right of this tent, everyone are in the tent to the left"

"Let's hope it holds"

he nodded and left. I got up and went to the armory and grabbed my desert eagle, I then went back to the other tent where soldiers and some of the other operators were resting.

Blaze:" (Y/n)'s back"

Finka:" Are you ok"

Lion:" You earned my respects for killing that many smashers"

I nodded and sat down on a bed.

Then, I thought of something, I went to the table and sat down on a chair, I grabbed my desert eagle and looked at it, a tear ran down my face, I quickly wiped it away.

Ash:" What's wrong"

"This pistol belongs to my father"

Ash:" Oh, I'm sorry"

"No, it's ok"

I disassembled the pistol, separating all of the bits and pieces, I used to disassemble and reassemble the pistol when I was small. I then carefully cleaned the bits and pieces and put it back together and place it on the table. Suddenly, Ela ran into the tent.

Ela:" Have anyone seen (Y/n)!, he's gon- Oh, hi, you're up"

"Yeah, i'm fine, thanks for keeping watch"

She turned slightly red, ' What is with her turning red'. Jacob started to chuckle.

Ela:" What are you laughing at!"

Blaze:" Nothing, Nothing at all

She then turned back to me.

Ela:" Anyways, I just felt like I was supposed to keep watch since you were under my command in that mission and you saved me."

"It's fine"

Ela:" Why did you risk so much for the team"

I sighed.
