Chapter 21: Clash of the Titans

Operation: Barbarossa

Location: Kamchatka, Russia

Objective: Raid White Masks base, eliminate all hostiles

Secondary objective: Terminate Jack Frost AKA Jack the Ripper.

Team leader: Ela

Operators: Zofia, Scarecrow, Glaz, Fuze, Tachanka, Kapkan.

Notes:

Satellite imaging and leak intel from a top secret source have hinted towards a White Masks base in Kamchatka, Russia. There are also rumors that Jack Frost, the White Masks supersoldier is staying there for a week. Team Rainbow is sent to raid the base and take out the Ripper.

3rd person POV

As team Rainbow's Chinook flew across the Kamchatka wilderness,Ela started to ponder about (Y/n). The GROM operator was worried sick, she didn't wanted to lose (Y/n) again but she was anything but hopeless. 'He'll just come back again." She thought, trying to calm herself down.

Pilot:" ETA 1 minute"

The helicopter continued to fly across the beautiful Kamchatka wilderness until a large military base, surrounded by a wall came into view . The operators readied their guns and looked out the window when suddenly, a missile alarm rang. A anti air missile sped towards the helicopter, the pilot deployed flares at the last second causing the missile to lose lock and divert away.  The helicopter quickly descends and the hatch opened. The operators began to rappelled out. The chopper began to climb and flew away, barely dodging another missile. 

Ela:" We have to reach the base quickly, keep your head low!"

Everyone:" Yes mam!!!"

 The CTU soldiers turned their primary guns off safety and ran towards the White Masks base while keeping their heads down, avoiding the onslaught of LMG bullets coming from the terrorists standing guard on the wall. A stray bullet flew passed Glaz's head, missing him by an inch. The skilled marksman took aim and return fire, downing 5 machine gunners. After a minute of running which felt like an hour to the operators, they reached the wall and threw grappling hook. Some guards aimed and was about to shred them but Ela quickly threw an impact grenade, killing a few terrorists allowing the operators to rappel up the wall. Dozens of terrorists quickly surround them. 

Scarecrow:"  Hold your breath!"

The Danish soldier unclipped and threw a strange looking grenade towards the advancing terrorists. A green gas started coming out of it and covering the White Masks soldiers who dropped their guns while running around, screaming in terror. Ela dumped her 50 round mag, ripping through a dozen terrorists, Glaz aimed through the green smoke using his thermal scope and fired off the remaining shots in his magazine, landing 5 headshots. Zofia shot a stun grenade, further confusing the screaming terrorists. Scarecrow and Kapkan started shooting with their primary weapons while lord Tachanka handheld his DP-28 and sprayed down the helpless enemies with the Russian national anthem blasting in the background from his phone.

Tachanka:" No one f*cks with my country!!!"

The green smoke clears, revealing dozens of dead bodies but their were still many more. They started shooting but somehow missed every bullets (A/n: It's called plot convenience) allowing the Rainbow operators to reload. Glaz quickly fired 10 shots and 10 bodies fell to the ground. Ela tossed a Grzzmot mine, concussing a group of terrorists making easy targets for Zofia and Scarecrow's assault rifles. After a few seconds, all of the terrorists on the wall were dead. Suddenly, a trapdoor opened and another machinegun wielding terrorist climbed up but he was quickly shot down. The operators heard multiple footsteps underneath them. Fuze smirked under his helmet and placed down a cluster charge and detonated it. Hockey pucks and screams of terror were heard, followed by a big explosion and the sound of blood splashing everywhere. The operators rappelled down the wall, into the base. Unfortunately, the White Masks were already ready for them and they were painted red with fookin laser soights the moment they touched the ground.
