Chapter 25: Mystery man

(Y/n) POV

I fired, the anti-material round penetrated the helicopter's windshield and blasted off the pilot's head, blood shooting out of his neck, his dead body fell on to the control stick and put the chopper into a nosedive, it dropped at high speeds and crashed into the group of White Masks infantry and blew up, killing dozens but the surviving terrorists began firing at my position with their assault rifles and SMGs. The bullets bounced off my armor but it still hurt. I returned fire with my rifle, emptying the remaining 9 shots, punching holes in 9 terrorists' chests.

"I need some help over here!"

Glaz/Zofia: Copy!!!

Glaz and Zofia put on ballistic vests and aimed out of the window and started firing. Glaz scored multiple clean headshots and terrorists dropped like flies. I finished reloading and unleashed another volley of 10 shots, dropping more terrorists and painting the streets red. However, there were still hundreds left and more are exiting the vehicles.

"I need the Lord!"

Tachanka:" Sir yes Sir!!!"

Tachanka deployed his turret next to another window cell, inserted a magazine and cocked the LMG. He began to unleash a hail of lead at the enemies, ripping off limbs and spraying blood everywhere, he reloaded and repeat. I spotted three fuel trucks on the street, right next to the terrorists. I fired a bullet at all of the vehicles, it didn't blow up but gasoline started leaking out. I waited for oxygen to get into the tanks. I fired another APIT round at the puddle of gasoline, lighting it, the flame quickly moved towards the three vehicles.

BOOM!

The vehicles blew up at once, creating a massive fireball which engulfed many terrorists, killing at least a hundred and caused me to cover my eyes from the blinding flash. The fireball died down and I could see dozens of terrorists on fire running around and screaming in pain before dying. However, Almost two hundred hostiles still remained.

Glaz:" They just keep coming!"

"Watch my flank!"

I repeated in Russian. Tachanka picked up his turret and deployed it in the middle of the room, pointing towards the entrance, the eight Spetznas soldiers aimed through their rifles' sights. Kapkan placed down an EDD at the entrance and Ela placed a deployable shield slightly outside the entrance. Fuze placed a cluster charge on the wall and held his AK-12 with one arm and the detonator with the other. Meanwhile, I and Glaz were trying to pick off as many hostiles as possible. I could hear footsteps coming upstairs said and grabbed my assault rifle before turning towards the entrance. The footsteps were getting louder. I activated my SONAR which hi lighted a dozen terrorists in the hallay

"Fuze, do it!"

Fuze:" Cyka Blyat!"

The Russian detonated the cluster charge, sending the submunitions into the hallway, the iconic sound of the explosives bouncing around was heard, followed by an explosion and multiple screams, Shortly after, A Terrorist tried to vault over the deployable shield but was quickly gunned down by Tachanka. Two more tried but met the same fate. One managed to jump into the room but his feet crossed the EDD's laser, causing the device to blow up and send hundreds of shrapnel into the terrorist leg, knocking down to the ground, I quickly put a bullet into his head. Abruptly, multiple Thermite charges went off and slowly cut through the wall.

"Get ready!"

Everyone: "Copy!"

BOOM

The charges blew up simultaneously, destroying the wall, revealing dozens of a terrorist who started shooting at us with AK-74s. Luckily, we had good body armor so the bullets were not very effective.
