Flashback:
5 years old (Y/n) POV:
I was with my family at the airport, I and my mom was saying goodbye to my brother, Ethan and my dad who were deployed in Afghanistan again, I hugged my brother one last time.
"Goodbye, big bro! Be safe!"
Ethan:" I will! Remember to behave yourself!"
He rubbed my hair. I looked into his (E/c) eyes
"Yes, sir."
He smiled, my dad hugged me and picked me up.
(D/n): "Take care of mommy for us, ok."
"I will."
Ethan:" We have to go now. Bye"
I and my mom waved to them as they make their way to their terminal.
9-year-old (Y/n) POV:
My mother was preparing dinner but this one is special, with what seems like 5-star restaurant food even though our family wasn't exactly very rich. It has been three years since Daddy and Ethan have deployed in Afghanistan and they were coming home tonight. I was sitting in my bedroom room, waiting anxiously until the door finally opened. I ran out of the bedroom and downstairs to greet my family but I only saw my dad, he was wearing his uniform. I noticed something odd, he had a look of sorrow and despair, he looked like he was holding back his tears.
"Daddy?"
He ran at me and hugged me before sobbing.
"Where's Ethan?"
(D/n):" He's gone!"
He started crying, my mom dropped the plate she was carrying.
(M/n):" Please tell me this is a joke."
(D/n):" I'm sorry, he got stuck behind and the god damn Insurgents got him."
My mom fell to her knees and started crying. Tears flowed down my cheeks, why did it have to be him. My brother was only 22, he was a competent SEAL with a bright future but he had to be taken away from us! Why? I cried and cried, we all did.
"I will avenge him, when I grow up, I will end all terrorism!"
(D/n):" I hope you could, (Y/n), I hope you could.
Flashback ends
I woke up from my nightmare, I was sweating profusely, I noticed that a tear was rolling down my cheek. I missed my family, I really do. They were taken away from me by terrorism. Once, they were the only people who truly cared for me. Now, I have the operators of Rainbow as not only sidekicks but as close friends but It still fails to fill the void that was left in me. A void that was created when my brother was taken from this world and it only got worst when my parents were brutally killed in front of me. I felt overwhelmed with sadness which slowly turned into anger. I hated terrorism with a passion which may seems ironic as I worked for them for quite some time but now is my time for redemption and revengeance. I checked my phone, it was still only 2 AM and my recruits are still sleeping. I decided to head to the armory. Once I was there, I sat down on a chair and pulled out my most prized possession, my father's Desert Eagle. I began to disassemble the gun, carefully removing each parts. When I finished, I clean all of the parts carefully before putting them back together. I then stared at the powerful weapon, happy memories that I had with my family ran through my head and a tear fell from my eye onto the table before I knew it.
