Chapter 14: Operation: Slaughterhouse

(A/n): Firstly, thanks for 2k reads, I couldn't have done this without you guys, it means a lot. 

Small question:

Who should I pair (Y/n) up with, I am leaning towards Ela right now but what do you guys think. Don't make it too weird, IQ is like 10 years older.

Warning: There will be blood and gore which you could clearly tell by the title Operation: Slaughterhouse. You have been warned!

(Y/n) POV:

I weakly opened my eyes but I immediately shut them due to the blinding light, I put a hand over my head and opened my eyes to look around. I was wearing a t shirt and jeans on a medical bed with a heartbeat monitor by my side again but this time I'm in a clean, white room instead of a medical tent. Then, I saw Thomas and Ela Sleeping on two chairs. ' Is she keeping watch over me again, she's been acting really strange' I thought. 

"Hey"

Thomas's eyes snapped open.

Thomas:" You're awake"

I nodded, Ela then began to opened her eyes slowly.

Ela:" OMG! (Y/n)! You're awake!"

"How long have I been out for?"

Thomas:" Not long, only about a few hours"

"What did I missed?"

Ela:" They wiped out the infection with bombs and the serum, the operation was a success."

"Good"

The doors opened, Doc walked in, he was wearing a white coat.

Gustave(Doc): " How long have you been awake?"

"Just now actually"

Gustave:" How does your leg feel?"

"It's fine, it slightly aches but it's no big deal, I've been through worse"

Doc nodded.

Gustave:" Can you stand"

I sat up and stood up.

Gustave:" I think you're good to go"

I nodded and left, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, it was Thomas and Ela

Ela:" Are you sure you're ok"

Thomas:" You had white the injury"

"I'm fine"

Ela:" ... Sure"

"Plus, the stab wasn't as bad as being crushed by you and the others." 

Ela turned red from embarrassment.

Ela:" I'm... sorry"

"Don't be, I'm ok now."

I went back to my room, Thomas followed. When I arrived I heard Jacob's voice.

Jacob:" I am 100% sure that Ela has a crush on (Y/n)"

Nicholas:" I know right, it's so obvious."

Delta:" It's pretty clear based on the way she looked at him"

I turned to Thomas with a confused expression.

Thomas:" It's best you don't know what they're talking about"

I nodded and knocked on the door.

Jacob:" It's opened the door" 

I twisted the knob and opened the door, the three recruits were sitting on their beds.
