      Nine weeks later.......................

Karan why do i have to eat a lot of this
tangerines. Seriously am tired of taking this fruits and medications. Complained mahi who was feeling fed up.
'I want to eat spicy curry and rotis, mixed with fried chilly wings. And then i'd eat some ice cream" said Mahi again pushing the bowl of tangerine forward.
"Why will you be dear? tell me. You've got to eat them all so that my granddaughter will grow up quickly. Said mum taking her seat close to mine.
Grand daughter? It's going to be a boy. So a grand son he'll become. Since when did you start for telling what sex the baby is going to be? asked Dad who was looking offended by mum's statement earlier on.
It's definitely going to be a girl. I can feel it. Right dear? Asked mum smiling warmly.
Well actually mum but am afraid it's not just one baby but two said karan scratching his head with a Wide grin on his face.

Seeing both of them so happy made my heart flutter with happiness. Although they both look grown up , they still act like little kids. Dropping the bowl of tangerines Mahi had abandoned i silently crept out not wanting mum and dad to notice my movement.
Reaching for my keys i slowly drove out heading for my office.
Remembering i did not leave a message for Mahi i decided to send her a text.
Getting out of the car i began to type my message.
Suddenly Out of nowhere a girl ran past me crying. She was dressed in a long flowing saree and was heading towards the well across the road. Still looking at her i immediately dropped my phone and decided to see what the problem was. I noticed she was about to jump into the well as she had climbed up already.
STOP! i yelled running to save her from falling. Finally getting hold of her hands i began to pull with all my strength.
'No leave me let me kill myself Leave me please am begging you" she kept on saying.
What were you trying to do miss?. Why do you want to commit suicide huh? Tell me ? I demanded immediately she was safe.
No one cares so why wont i kill myself. My father is going to kill me. Please go away from here and let me kill myself she said trying to jump again.
Catching her immediately i spunned her around until i could see her face clearly.
Are you mad. Why would you want to do something like that. Think of your parents, what do you want them to do after knowing you're gone.
Tell me is committing suicide the answer? Come I'll take you home today i said as i dragged her into my car.
