Karan  pov
Getting to the mansion i found the whole place busy with servants running around with flowers, chilies and lights.
Everyone was so busy to notice me walk in. Suddenly i was dragged into the store room by someone i couldn't see the face properly sssssssh! Hushed Mahi putting her finger on her lips.
Mahi you here, what was that for.
Look my father is in there making arrangement for our wedding and am not ready to get married. I think it's best i run away from here. She said with tears streaming down her face.
Look i promised you that I'll get sahel back to you and i did Mahi. Sahel is coming to you tonight i finally said with a wide grin on my face.
Sahel is coming?, my sahel is coming to save me from my father? She asked still crying.
Yes Mahi he's coming tonight. I replied as i watched her run off to her room full of joy.
Sorry Mahi, but Sahel has other plans to hurt you and your child. So i will have to dress up like him and after our marriage I'll take you away from this bad people you call family. I said and walked towards my car.

But before i could do that the voice of karan caught me unaware. From the way he was sounding it was as if he was being interrogated by someone. Quietly tip toed to the door to listen.

Karan pov
I was finding it difficult to explain to aunt Bani. As i kept on running after her.
Look aunt Bani, look I'll explain. So i went to meet up with Sahel concerning Mahi, but Sahel is not who he claims to be. He has an auterio motive to destroy Mahi and her family. So i lied to Mahi that he still loves her and would come by tonight.
Am going to have to fool her just this once.

He is not who he claims to be i silently whispered to myself as i slowly sat on the cold tiles crying my heart out. He never loved me. Taking the photographs lying on the bed i began to recall our past together, his promises and his love.
I was a fool to fall inlove with you Sahel. I curse the day i set my eyes on you. You decided to cause me pains. I wept uncontrollably. Holding my flat stomach i began to talk to my child.

The door caught my attention as i noticed someone was in my room. Drying my face with a towel i immediately rushed out and found Mahi busy arranging my bangles as well as my saree.
Ooh here you are. Please come sit down she said dragging me towards the dressing table.
You're here. How come i asked as i immediately removed the band holding my hair.
I came with aunt Bani. She replied smiling as she began to wipe my face with a makeover brush.

You look a bit moody. What's the problem?
You see am all fine, i guess am worried about the wedding and sahel that's all.
Well no need to worry about anything. You just need to keep smiling. Besides it your wedding and you need to be happy.

Just then my mother walked in carrying some sweets.
Ooh dear, look at you she said as she drew me in for a hug. Before she began to shed tears of joy. I never dreamed this day will come when i will have to give my daughter away.
Stop crying mum or you'll make me cry also i said as i broke the hug.
Mum you've taught me enough and am all grown up to make my own decisions. Now wipe your  tears we have a wedding to attend to.
