Chapter 32: Same

Being in his embrace was calming. You snuggled closer to his chest and let the darkness slowly consume you.

-WAKE UP TIME AHAHAHAH-

As you slowly opened your eyes and tried to get up, you realized that there was a small weight holding you down. When you turned around, you realized that it was Todoroki. You were still snuggled up against his chest.

'He's so cute.' you thought.

"Hm? Good morning (Y/N)," he greeted.

"Morning," you replied.

"Did you get enough sleep? I was worried because you were shifting a lot and you didn't sleep until 3 am," he said with a worried look on his face.

"I feel fine right now. After you hugged me I fell asleep. It was nice." You mumbled, "W-wait you heard nothing! I'm sorry!"

"That's good." He replied, " I thought you felt uncomfortable with me around."

"Why would I? We're not small highschoolers anymore, both of us know what the world is like. It's dark and cruel, but the ones you care about the most can make the real world a little brighter. Being with you and everyone at 1-A made me happy." you said.

"Same..."

"Please don't answer a long speech with one simple word," you stated.

"But sometimes the simplest words can express things that long speeches can't," he said.

"Sure~ like which ones?" you questioned.

"I love you," he said while looking into your eyes.

Allow me to remind everyone that you were still on the bed in his embrace.

"And if you replied 'same', it would mean more than anything in the world to me," he continued.

"S----" You tried to say something, but nothing came out.

Was it because you didn't feel the same? Nope. It was because his lips were already on yours. That was your first kiss (I hope), you were not sure what to do. The kiss was short, but it felt perfect.

"Let me finish, goddamnit." You said while covering your face.

"So what's your answer?"

"'Same'." You replied, "And you're right. That 1 word meant a lot, and it changed both of our futures. For the better or worse."

"I can't see the future, and I'm afraid of what might happen to us, but after that one simple word, I won't afraid as long as you're by my side," he said as pulled you closer.

"Okay," you said.

"Was that revenge?"

"Maybe..." you continued.

"Let's just go and get something to eat," he suggested.

As Todoroki drove down the road he asked, "What would you like for breakfast milady?"

"Let's have cake for breakfast!" you said.

"No, let's just go to the cafe," he said as he parked in front of a cafe called": Re"
