Chapter 8(the grand magic games-sorry)

Today was the day, we were all nervous. Before the game started I was asked to give a speech after kaachan, I'm supposed to be anti social, so I was allowed to wear a hoodie to make myself calmer. I was outside the door trying to memorize the speech. I saw Shoto walk in and declare war on deku, which was not that surprising. After Shoto came out he saw me.
"What are you doing here?" He asked
"Trying not to freak out."
"Oh, don't worry we've been training really hard. And I'll be there by your side." He said while holding onto my hand. I blushed, but the hoodie hid it..... I hope.

Shoto's pov
Ahhhhhh, what did I just say!!!! Well it was the truth, I want to be by her side, and protect her.

3rd person pov
As everyone was waiting at the entrance of the stadium y/n and Shoto were still holding hands causing a few(cough many cough) screams.

"Hey, you'll do fine. And don't forget I'll be there to help you." Shoto said to y/n
"Thanks, Shoto. I'll help you as much as I can too." Y/n said with a blush.

As present mic said class 1-A everyone walked out and loud screams were heard. As all the classes were gathered midnight was the referee.
"Now for the speech from katsuki bakugou and y/n l/n from class 1-A."

Back to your pov

I looked at Shoto nervously, but he gave me a reassuring simle(which could heal everyone) and he told me I'll be ok.

Kaachan was first.
"I'm wanna say......I'm gonna win." And with that everyone hates our class. But I remembered that I'm next.........ohhhh so I'm supposed to make things better by giving a proper speech and apologize for kaachan.

I stepped towards the mic, but Ms. midnight told me to take my hoodie off. I did, but then there were a lot of cheers and whistles. I looked back at Shoto and it looked like he was going to kill someone. I decided to start my speech before blood spills.
"I apologize for the previous speech. Just like everyone else I'll be aiming for the top too. Let's have a fun festival everyone." I gave everyone a smile and bowed. Everyone in the crowd cheered and whistled louder than before. I turned around and heard mineta say."she's talented, beautiful, strong and nice. What's even better is that her body is the best in the whole school." A few boys from other classes were blushing and agreeing with the little pervert. But I saw Shoto ready to kill and kaachan being kaachan(with a 'fight me' face) I had to go and hold Shoto down. Midnight announced.
"The first game is an obstacle course race, the principle has stated that y/n from class 1-A will not be able to use her quirk."
Of course I wouldn't be allowed to, because if I did there will be no point to me participating.
"Ummm, Shoto good luck getting first. I'll try my best too!" I said with a smile. Shoto looked at me with a little blush which was actually cute.
"Ok, on your marks, get set. GO!!!!!" Midnight yelled and everyone ran inside. I was stuck and everyone was pushing. The worst part is that mineta was beside me. I felt some pull me forward and I closed my eyes. I felt a cold breeze and a few screams once I opened my eyes I saw Shoto carrying bridal style. I was blushing way to hard.
"Thanks Shoto, in sorry about you having to carry me."
"It's ok, I wanted to do this for you. So just relax and I'll get you to the finish line."
"Hold it todoroki, don't think you can hold y/n and get away with it. Now let's see if you can avoid this." Mineta screamed, but got hit by a robot. "Now this is the first obstacle, 'Robo inferno!!" Present mic said.

"Hey, y/n, hold on. It might be a little cold." Shoto said in a gentle voice and brought me closer to him. He was really warm. Then in 1 attack he froze the robot when it was off balance.
"Wooow, good job Shoto." I congratulated him. Then there was a tiny blush on his face.
The next obstacle was 'the fall' I was kinda scars of heights.
"Ummm Shoto, I'm kinda of scared of heights." I said very quietly.
"It's ok y/n, I'll protect you. Even if you fall I'll catch you. So trust me, I'll never let you go."
He said with a blush.
"Ok, thank you Shoto." I said and hugged him.
I'm pretty sure the whole audience saw that, because there are cameras everywhere.
-time skip to the mine field.-
Shoto was doing really well going across the field while carrying me. Then kaachan came out of nowhere and was going against Shoto.
"Shoto, put me down in just gonna be holding you back." I said while jumping off of him.
I gave him a little push and he went forward a little.
-time skip to the finish line-
I managed to get 4th place.
"Shoto, thank you for carrying me." I said and gave him a quick hug... apparently ochaco saw and took a few(hundred) pics. The next event was a cavalry battle. I was worth 195 points. When midnight said that deku was worth 10 million points, I felt bad for deku, but I'll still be aiming for him. We were allowed to choose our own teams and I was allowed to use any quirk except for time control. Kaachan came over and asked me to be on his team but I wanted to help Shoto. Well......until kirishima came and said he already had a team. So I joined kaachan's team. Shoto's team had Iida, kaminari, and yaoyorozu. When I saw her on his team my heart sunk a little.
"Hey kaachan, can we also go after Shoto's headband?"
"Ok, he has a lot of points too."
"Thanks."
When it started everyone went after deku's headband. I saw deku fly and kaachan also jumped to get him, but failed. We managed to catch him, but our headband got taken away by a blond guy. Honestly he was starting to piss me off. But, when he said that kaachan was always the victim I snapped.
"Kirishima change of plans we're gonna kill this guy before getting the other head bands." Me and kaachan said in unison.
"Woah, you guys are like siblings."
That was kind of true. When I was little I was always getting picked on kaachan was kind of like my big brother and his mom treated me much better than my own, because my own mom abused me and sold me, because of my quirk.
