Curse The Day

Madhu's p.o.v:

Today is my second day in Australia with my brother, Mark. Today is also my dad's birthday. I really miss him. Every year I will wish him as first. But this year I can't even see his face.

All this is because of only one person, Aarya. I will definitely go to my parents no matter what. But before that I have to be a strong girl not only in mind but also physical strength.

I have to know some self defence techniques to save myself. I put admission in a school in Australia and also got a car with the money I got from Aarya's house.

I don't feel guilty to use that because he wasted my life.Mark got a job in a hotel as a servant. I know it is difficult but we have to earn something for our food.

He is earning for me too. I have to help him so I am getting into boxing fights in fight club so that I can get more money easily. I know it is illegal but I have seen worse in my life than that in Italy. Tomorrow my first day of school in Australia is starting. I have to study good for my future and also for my brother future.

I can't contact my family now because I know Aarya will be keeping an eye on him. So I have to wait and put a plan to join them. Until then i have to get ready to face him. I know I can't run away from him for my whole life.

But I can save my family from him including Mark. He lost everything in his life. He got here for me. He is considering me as his sister and I will get him away from Aarya.
Now I am going to live for my family protection.

I changed my identity completely and I changed my name too. I have changed my name from 'Madhu' to 'Isabella'. Hereafter that Madhu is dead and now I am Isabella who is brave and strong to face the struggles of her life.

After 3 months,

"Wake up, sleep head" said my brother, Mark. I woke up and see him. He smiled and said " Happy birthday, Madhu." Yeah it is my birthday today. I am turning 16. I am sorry today is a girl birthday her name is Madhu. And she is dead 3months ago. I didn't say anything and got up from my bed.

He said " forget your past and enjoy your day, sweetheart. Today is your birthday." I said " Not mine. It is Madhu birthday. She is dead. I am just Isabella." He said " please Madhu. Don't forget where you come from." I said " I don't forget anything and anyone Mark." I got ready to school and he dropped me in my school.

"Hi Isabella" said my friend Evelyn. "Hey guys" said my another friend Lia. These two are my best friends in this school. No one in here knows about my past except Mark. Today we have planned to go for a movie after the class.

After the class, Evelyn said " this is going to be awesome." I said "Yes, it is" . Lia said "it's so amazing. Everybody is saying that this film is released all over the world." We got into the theatre. We got some popcorn and coke. After the movie, my brother was waiting outside to pick me up.

I said goodbye to my friends and got into the car. " So so how is your day today?" He asked. I said " as usual" . We got home and entered into the home. When I got into the living room the light is off. I switch on the light and saw a cake in the middle. " surprise...." shouted my brother.

I said " Mark what is this?" In angry. He said " it's birthday cake, what else." I said " I don't want this." He said " No. At least for me you have to do this. Come cut the first." I cut the cake with my half heart and I don't want to make him sad. He feed me the cake and I too. It is a choclate cake which is decorated very beautifully.

He made me dinner which is of a chicken roast. He did a lot to make me happy.

I really love my brother. He is not my blood relation but still he is doing this for me as my brother. I will pray to God to get him a good life. After our dinner, he said " Time to go to bed, sweetie." I said " good night."

I went to my room and got to bed. I thought about my family and tear fell down from my eyes. Last year I celebrated my birthday with my friends and my family happily. But now I am celebrating alone with only sadness. I know this day my family will also be worrying about me. God why they have to suffer like this? What have they done to get me as their daughter? I closed my eyes and thought ' I curse the day I born '.
