'c'mon, you're exhausted. we are going to bed' luke whined as michael lifted him up off the couch where they laid watching friends. luke was beyond exhausted but had been denying it because he wanted to lay with michael. luke closed his eyes and laid down as michael covered him in bed with a blanket.

michael had just hopped into bed when the questions started. 'mikey, where do beaches come from?' he sighed and rolled toward luke, seeing the boy was sitting up in bed. he clearly caught his second wind and was going to be awake for a little longer.

'baby, i'm not sure.' michael closed his eyes and was about to calm down when luke asked another. 'do you think bunnies are ever sad or like, insecure?'

michael just ignored him and started to fall asleep again until he heard luke sniffle. he nearly shot up, trying to see luke's features in the near pitch black room. 'lukey, what's going on?'

'what if bunnies really do get insecure? they don't even have mirrors to see how cute the are!' michael laid back down, pulling luke down into his chest. the boy wiped his eyes before turning and snuggling into michael's chest. 'luke, i'm positive that all the little bunnies out there know just how cute they are.'

luke nodded and wrapped his arm around michael's waist, needing a hug. michael knew he was falling asleep once he fell limp. michael moved him over onto his side of the bed before kissing his forehead.
