Marinette: (Opens her eyes, checks she hadn't been shot, sees someone lying on the floor)
Adrien: (Lying on the floor with a gun wound to his arm)
Marinette: (Eyes widen) Adrien!!! (Kneels) You took a shot for me?!
Adrien: I.... had to.... I couldn't.... lose you...
Marinette: (Touched, tearful, holds him)
Robbers: (Run away)
Luka & Juleka: (Run over to them)
Juleka: I'll call an ambulance! (Walks away, phoning them)
Luka: Adrien, you are one brave dude!
Adrien: Thanks.....
Marinette: (Teary eyed, holding him close) Please don't die.
Luka: Marinette, he won't. We going to save him. No matter what.
Adrien: Luka... is right... I will... be alright....
Marinette: I can't lose you, Adrien. I'm staying with you. That's what best friends do.
Luka: (Smiles at them)
(A few minutes later)
Paramedics: (Running in and kneels)
Paramedic 1: What's your name, son?
Adrien: (Faintly) Adrien.
Paramedic 2: (Checking his arm) Ok, I can see the bullet, it hasn't gone too far. I think I can take it out before we get to the hospital.
Marinette: Will it hurt him?
Paramedic 1: Only a little bit. He shouldn't feel too much pain.
Paramedic 2: (Gets tweezers out)
Adrien: (In his own little world) Marinette...
Marinette: It's okay, Adrien. Just relax.
Paramedic 2: (Takes the bullet out quickly and covers it with a bandage)
Adrien: (Faints)
Marinette: (Noticed he fainted) Adrien?! Adrien!!
Paramedic 2: (Feels his head) He's okay. He just fainted from the pain.
Luka: How long do you think it will be until he wakes up again?
Paramedic 1: Well, judging by how relaxed he is, I'd say a couple of hours.
Marinette: Can I come with him to the hospital?
Paramedic 1: Of course.
(Later at the hospital, a few hours later)
Marinette: (Calling Nathalie) Yeah... it was just a gun shot to the arm... yep... I'll tell him... okay.... bye... (Goes back into the room)
Adrien: (Sitting up) Well?
Marinette: (Sits on the bed) Nathalie's going to pop by soon with your father. He didn't sound happy when he found out you're in hospital.
Adrien: Typical.
Marinette: (Sighs)
Adrien: (Sees Plagg eating the Camembert on his plate) Speaking of typical. Plagg's loving it here.
Marinette: And Tikki. She's chomping away at the cookies. Do you want me to take Plagg home with me? I'll give him all the Camembert I can find.
Adrien: That would be great.
Marinette: (Smiles at him) Anything for my hero.
Adrien: (Blushes)
Marinette: (About to cry) Why did I do that?
Adrien: Do what?
Marinette: Stood up. I'm not Ladybug without my mask, I should know that! I guess I just... wanted to save you or something.
Adrien: (Grabs her hands) You didn't have to do that.
Marinette: (Looks at their hands and smiles)
Adrien: You're my Ladybug with and without the mask. (Smiles)
Marinette: (Looks at his eyes) And you're my kitty...
Adrien: (Looks into her eyes)
Marinette: (Leans in)
Adrien: (Leans in too)
Adrienette: (About to kiss)
Nathalie: (Opens the door) Adrien?
Marinette: (Jumps off the bed) H...hi Nathalie!
Nathalie: (Confused) Hi?
Marinette: (Laughs nervously) I'll just go now. (Quickly grabs Tikki and Plagg without Nathalie noticing and leaves)
Adrien: (Sees her leave, sighs)
Gabriel: (Walks in) Adrien?!
Adrien: (Nervous) Hi...
Gabriel: (Worried) How did this happen?
Adrien: Oh uh... some robbers came at the event I told you about and was aiming the gun at Marinette so I jumped in front of her and... took the shot.
Gabriel: (Sighs) That was stupid, Adrien! You could of got killed!
Nathalie: He's a hero, Mr Agreste. As off an hour ago on French Magazine. (Shows him the article on her tablet)
Gabriel: Well, I see... Um... good... job, Adrien.
Adrien: (Smiles)
