ENVY

Alam niyo ba ang latest chika? SI Jealousy daw ay nabuntis at after three days ay isinilang niya ang kanya unica ija na si Envy. Dahil bored ako ngayon kaya naisip kung kilalanin itong si Envy, let's see what can envy do in our daily lives.

 Envy is an emotion which "occurs when a person lacks another's superior quality, achievement, or possession and either desire it or wishes that the other lacked it".  Psychologist often says that "Envy is mean and miserly, and arguably the most shameful of the deadly sins. Our envy is hardly ever confessed, not even to ourselves.". According to Bertrand Russell  "Beggars do not envy millionaires, though of course, they will envy other beggars who are more successful."    

Base sa mga explainations about envy (inggit), masasabi kung mahirap siyang kalabanin lalo na pag iyon inggit mo ay nahaluan ng selos o baliktad, iyong nangu-nguna yung matinding selos natin sa isang tao kaya nakakadama tayo ng inggit sa taong iyon. Magulo ba iyong sinasasabi ko at hindi niyo masyado nakuha ang gusto kung sabihin? Let me give an example scenario for this explaination, a common scenario that we are very familiar with: FANDOM WAR.

Uso ngayon ang mga fan clubs, right? JaDine, LizQuen, KathNiel, AlDub, MayWard, etc... sa showbiz, Little Mix, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, etc... sa mga singers, MOMOLAND, BTS, EXO, BLACK PINK, Super Junior, Girls Generation, 2NE1, etc... sa mga KPOP, at Jonaxx, xxakanexx, CeceLib, Race Darwin, makiwander, FrustratedGirlWriter, RainbowColoredMind, JamillaFumah, maxinejiji, blue_maiden, GreatFairy, etc... sa wattpad authors. Ang daming fans club 'di ba at sa sobrang dami nila na minsan nagkakagulo na.

Take for example here in wattpad, there are big names here with so many readers and followers. As readers, we always patronize the works of our favorite authors but sometimes we can't avoid reading works from other authors and with that, we are starting to compare their works to the works of our bias, right? In discovering new authors, we can't avoid leaving comments of appreciation but sometimes offensive. When we say offensive is when you publicly state a comparison of their works to other authors, like seriously bes? Did you hear the word respect?

Ito iyong problema nating mga fans e, oo ginamit ko talaga ang salitang "natin" kasi kahit ako ay walang takas dito. May pagkakataon talaga na nakakadama tayo ng inggit sa tuwing nakikita nating mas maraming followers si ganito kaysa sa kay ganito at dahil dito ay nakakagawa tayo ng mga bagay na nakakasakit na ng iba. Ayos lang mag labas o magsabi ng opinyon sa isang bagay kasi karapatan natin iyon at normal lang ito pero kasi minsan sumusobra na tayo e. Naroon pa iyong sisiraan yung isang author na ikakagalit naman ng mga fans kaya gaganti rin sila ng paninira sa isang author like hello, what's your problem people? Hindi nga nagre-react yung may-ari ng istorya na may similarities sila ng plots, name or whatsoever tapos tayo grabe na kung magreact? Hala lang talaga..... We are just readers therefore let's respect the authors and let's just be thankful that they're sharing their stories to us. Keep Calm and Read lang tayo mga bes.

Another example of envy is when we see someone we know being happy with someone while you, on the other hand, is not. In short  yung mga friends mo taken na tapos ikaw nga-nga ang saklap, 'di ba? Hindi man natin aminin sa ating mga sarili, alam nating nai-inggit talaga tayo in some ways lalo na pag nakikita mo silang masaya kasama ang mga special someone nila, ang hirap ng NBSB no? Kaya nga naiinis ako sa mag-inang Jealousy at Envy e, una itong si jealousy pinaparamdam palagi sa akin na mawawala na sa akin ang mga kaibigan  ko tapos ito namang si envy pinamumukha sa aking single ako kaya nakakaloka pag nagsama itong mag-ina sa sistema ko. Hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa talaga alam kung paano iiwas at labanan ang negatibong dulot ng super duo sa buhay ko but I am trying my best not to feel those emotions to avoid hurting some people and even myself. 

To end this WoW, I just want to say that don't let jealousy eats your system because once you let it in, then expect that envy will follow. As long as possible, let's prevent this two toxic ruin our relationship either in love, friendship, work and in our family.
