"Yet you did nothing beyond that. You know how he is, his willpower is unlike anything we've ever seen. And despite knowing that he would definitely pursue his revenge scheme, you did little to nothing in order to stop him."

"Yes, I know. I was a fool. Foolish for thinking that maybe he would forget about his hatred for once. I thought that maybe the loss of his love would sink in, and turn him around. I was a fool for believing that he would let a grudge go — I guess this means that what the Crystal showed was his true nature."

"You know very well what the Crystal does. But I don't believe that it is as accurate as you believe — it showcased his determination, his uncompromising ideals, but he was never cruel. At the very most, your brother was callous, vengeful."

"I suppose. Though I do want to ask you a question, now that you are here. What business have you with me?"

"I have a lead on him. Apparently, he survived your brother's reckless attack on the underground complex."

"That can't be true! The laboratories were full of dangerous equipment and chemicals, if it all blew up, then barely anything should live! Most of the kids died in that explosion, with the few survivors in critical states!"

"Unfortunately, we have evidence to believe that he somehow made it out. One of the awakened Sakurazaki students told our investigators that he saw Kageyama running towards a hatch before fainting."

"Which one? What else did he say?"

"Fudou Akio. Regrettably, we could not continue the investigation. He disappeared this morning, along with the other Sakurazaki members. Only Suabara here wasn't touched, perhaps because the reconstruction on his face makes him look like a completely different person."

"Connected. We need to continue the investigation. Vermin need to be brought to justice."

"What we need to do is put you under protection. We've prepared things with your uncle Kaito, so that you and your brothers could live under new identities. Not the perfect plan, but it will offer some kind of protection. You will be less likely to be targeted."

"Thank you, Detective Onigawara, this means a lot. Anything else I should know?"

"Head injury could cause massive memory loss. I suggest crafting a past that isn't related to football, and keeping him away from anything that may cause him to rush after Kageyama. And enrolling him to a school that doesn't have a football club."

"Again, thank you. Thank you very much."

"Just repaying a favour. Also, I wouldn't want anything to happen to you kids."

"I'm all grown-up now, don't worry. I will handle things at home. I cannot remain to be the absentee brother that I was."

"Then I will take my leave. If you need me, you have my number."

"Wait."

"What is it?"

"The other Kageyama — what is he up to?"

"Same as his brother. No good. But I don't think you'll have to worry about him so much, I cannot see a motive for him to attack Suabara. And besides, you've already stopped working with the Organisation a long time ago, with no ill consequence."

"That could change once we start cornering them."

"Once we do. Right now, we're still raw."

"Once things get sorted out, I'll help with the investigation. Until then, mata ne.

All dialogue Prologue. Written some time ago, it bears the original connection between Fudou and Suabara. The two were originally supposed to be part of Sakurazaki's team together with Afuro. But I trashed the idea because of too much connection to the Aliea Meteorite (Described as a Crystal here), and I eventually found a better trio in the form of Afuro-Kanata-Suabara.

Here, Kurogane Kiba talks to Detective Onigawara about Suabara's recent outburst. His recklessness had led to a violent explosion, in which the rest of Sakurazaki had been caught in. The reasons for this was the death of a loved one in the hands of 'a Kageyama'. Yes. There were two Kageyama's in this version.
