Sometimes, I'm happy nobody paid much attention to my old works. Since I decided to take them down and work on rewriting them all, to be more clean. Can't have books under my name that don't reflect my style after all (Also, I wrote those on Notepad and the typographical errors just killed me.)
As of the moment, I have four major stories that I am aiming to bring into writing. I will likely be working on bits of each since I'm the kind of person that doesn't stick to one task. Once one work starts to drag, start another with new life, then go back.
First of these works is the completely revised version of a book that used to be called 'Illusions and Façades,' among other names that I have thrown out. It is meant to be the definitive and completed version of the previous stories, incorporating elements from all Inazuma Eleven arcs, as well as twisting canon to become more interesting.
It features a character named Kurogane Suabara (His name in Romaji should be Su-wa-ba-ra because of the characters used, but there is a reason why his passport name is not in Hepburn Romaji), who gets enrolled in Raimon. In the first few versions, he was supposed to be a spy for Teikoku, and the previous one had him as a former Teikoku player out for Kageyama's blood, but his origin has been completely revised to better fit the original vision of the character, before I felt the compulsion to add Teikoku connections to him.
In terms of writing, the early portions have Suabara's reflective thoughts mixing the details of seemingly unimportant events and information about the story's background. They also seem a little lacking in action as they are meant to show Suabara's lack of motivation to move forward. Because of this, I believe it will be a little bit slow, but with much information on the characters. Currently working on making the football matches fast-paced, exciting, and full of movement; I will maybe also work on rewriting the chapters to be less boring.
The story contains some massive changes from the original canon, with many elements from outside influences being inserted into the story. There are also a lot of characters to keep track of in the long run, as this is an entire AU of its own, with many more books to stem from Suabara's Arc One Book (Working name.)
Second work is a little grim, and it's The Last Free Players. If you've read it before, then you probably already noticed the choppy chapters. Thus, I am working on continuing the story and rewording whole chapters.
This has a less complex plot than the former, it is simply the story of our favourite characters fighting against the Fifth Sector, which had militarised hissatsu techniques. Go is nonexistent in this timeline, to be clear.
The main character is Handa Shinichi, who I've given a detective-like personality. He also seems more serious here than in the anime, though most of the other characters have also been toned darker to fit the situation.
The third work is much more lighthearted. Reize TV was my attempt on a comedy Show-styled book. It was supposed to have a story behind it, in order to keep the book alive past just requests and questions, but it never took flight.
In-story, Reize TV is a live web show run by fourth-wall breaking characters. Using the powers of Shawn-Sama (Yours truly, the Writer), any character in fiction could appear, and even fellow writers. It is unknown where they truly are, and which Universe they film in, but logic is twisted by Shawn-Sama's Writer Powers.
Most of the characters shown in the pilot and first episode are Inazuma Eleven characters, with the exception of Ravio, who is the representative for the Legend of Zelda franchise. At least, for the original work. In the revised version, I am aiming to have seven characters from entirely different fandoms.
My final work is a never-before-seen work, which exists only in my mind and words. No specifics will be useful, as I am still choosing the 'Gateway Book' for the series. Basically, the series of books will be based on stories and characters I have made as a child, and eventually brought to the world of roleplay. I've never put them on any platform, and the stories exist only in my memory and notes.
Essentially, they are numerous Universes interconnected by a few core concepts and recurring themes. They form one big Multiverse, and are set to meet one another in the future in a crossover series.
It will probably not be exactly the same as the original stories because they are incredible extensive and fanfiction AUs, but they will likely get much of the inspiration from them. In a sense, an alternate Multiverse, if such exists.
This chapter is called 'Current Works,' but I would like to speak of a few future works. I won't go to them in detail, since they hardly have any.
> Stories based on popular children's stories, to become a crossover series. Action and fantasy.
> Marvel and DC Alternate Universes, more streamlined storylines and only using major portions of their lives.
> Something similar to The Dialogues, but with a modern character and all sorts of figures.
> A completely original superhero Universe. Will involve diverse characters that are not stationed in America, thus I might need to travel to get this right.
Since I'm heading to college soon, I guess I have my hands full for my entire Undergraduate period with all these works planned out. It will be a challenge then, to complete it all.
That's it for this chapter, I bid thee a dieu!
