Lucas Baron could not, for the world, understand how Vasheronne disappeared. He kept asking Nina if she had gone with Siva, or if Malik had dragged her away.

Charlotte was dead, and for some reason, Vasheronne was missing and was being thought of as the main suspect in her mistress' murder. All leads pointed at her, especially after Malik said that she was crazy about Luke and she killed Charlotte because she had purpose and intention.

Luke thought that was very stupid. For some reason, Malik seemed guilty. Rumour had it that Siva and him were spotted near the forest at the garden grounds. It was more of an orchard actually.

If history was anything to go by, anytime those two were seen together, some mess was bound to pop up.

Last time, a house caught fire and the invalid who lived in it almost died.

What if this time a girl got killed? And another one just vanished?

Siva Kaneswaran stood ramrod straight. Thomas Parker, his boss, was talking to Inspector Hunt. Everyone knew he was the best in the country. He ALWAYS got the criminals right where he wanted.

He truly knew how to hunt down miscreants.

Once or twice, Baron Thomas' eyes would flicker to him as he stood at attention next to his door. Eventually, Inspector Hunt stood up and, muttering his goodbyes, left.

Thomas turned to Siva and struck him on the cheek with his palm. The tall Asian looked down, knowing his master was angry at him. He bowed his head as the man infront of him yelled profanities and abuses at him. Eventually, he shut up and walked away, leaving Siva who wiped his tears and walked out.

He didn't know where he was headed, but he knew one thing for sure.

He was going to find whoever screwed him over and took his beautiful charge. He would definitely pull out their balls.

Zayn Malik raised his bloodshot eyes at Harold.

"Aye mate, relax," his curly haired friend spoke. "I won't tell a soul what happened."

The handsome Asian smiled sadly at his friend. Unlike his brother, his posture was much poorer, and his face wore a grim expression.

"Siva wanted me to give you this note. He said to do as it says or things will get out of hand."

Malik looked down at the note scribbled in his brother's neat hand.

          Payne's barn. midnight.

He sighed. "I will see him."

Sir Baron stood at the window of his study awaiting the news. Nick, his most trusted servant, walked in and shut the door. His Master kept surveying the land as he posed his question.

"Was it successful?"

"Yes sir. They will never know they have been set-up."

"Good, it should stay like that. Do not let anyone know what we planned."

"Yes sir." Nick began to back out but he got stopped. "Nick?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you," Sir Baron said as he turned away from the window to look at his servant who nodded and backed out of the office while smiling widely.
