"We'll be happy! I got lots of land, a hacienda... i got a big town house and i even have overseas property!"

Harold was talking to Veronica. He had her pinned to a tree in the orchard. Yes, all the slaves could see her and him.

Her father gave the go ahead for him to court her. His mother was not around. She had gone to get everything ready for the wedding.

"Over my dead body," she talked with attitude. His eyes met hers and before she knew it, he had her over his shoulder and he was hurrying to his room inside the Barons' house.

Veronica was yelling profanities at him as he came to his room, opened the door and shut it. She thumped her fists against his back as he slid her down to the bed.

"Let me go!"

"No!"

He climbed over her and began kissing her. She tried to fight him but her body was squashed underneath his.

"Let me go!" she said, trying to break away but his hands pinned her to the bed.

"Sorry baby," he whispered against her throat. He bit gently, then harder, forming a love bite. Or a hate bite.

She started crying as Harold got off her. He sighed before turning to her.

"I don't understand why you do not like me for you. Aren't you the one who started this game? I only came here looking for a wife. Then I found you. Since then, all I have done is to try get to know you but you want

NOTHING to do with me. I just... I just want you to love me as much as I love you. I have loved you since I first saw you... the day you came here."

She snored, making him turn. She looked so pretty.

"I am not letting you go. A wise man sees the value of something he has snd he never lets it go. You're all I got..." he kissed her forehead.

"Sweet dreams."

today we didn't do much. There was really nothing to do.

We played boardgames indoors. I lost to Luke's dad.

It's sweltering outside. This is weird weather considering Zardinia is so much colder right now.

Anyway, my parents called to say that they wanted me to go to France during spring. I am so excited about there. I got invited for a fashion show as a model. We'll be showcasing some Marie-Antoinette pieces and I am going to strut down the catwalk...
