Destiny POV
Monday 8:38 PM
The twins and I just landed in New York and we're now waiting on a taxi. The airport was really hectic and I was ready to leave. The twins of course were not. This was the first time they ever been on the plane and they were pretty good. I sighed as we finally caught a cab. The twins walked over to the cab with their backpacks on their back. The man got out of the car and helped me with my suitcase. I didn't bring the twin's car seat because I knew I didn't need a rental car out here.
"Mommy, look at that."
Michaela pointed to a tall building.
"Yes I see baby. Let mommy put your seat belt on."
"Where are we going Mommy?"
"To the hotel so we can call dad and your brother and sister. You miss them?"
"Yea mommy are they coming too?"
"No ma'am."
She sighed and sat back. I put their seat belt on and waited for the driver to drive off.
"So where you from?"
"Excuse me?"
"I said where ya from?"
"Oh Houston, but I live in Cali."
"These your kids."
"Yes."
"Wow. You too pretty to come out here by your self."
"Excuse me. I'm sorry. I'm here for work. My HUSBAND is in Cali with my two other kids. Why you so interested about me anyway? You never seen a pretty girl with kids in New York."
"Catching a cab? Ha nah ma."
"Ok first the only person who calls me ma are my kids. If you would like to get my attention please call me Ma'am."
"Wow. I apologize. So how long you staying here?"
"A week." I said with no expression.
We pulled up to the hotel and I couldn't be more happier.
"Well, here you go Cali princess. No tip needed. Have a nice day ma'am. Have fun in New York kiddos."
"Bye!" The twins said in unison.
I grabbed my suitcase from the man and made my way inside. A man at the front desk took my suitcase and followed me and the twins to our room. I unlocked the room with my key and sighed. The twins ran in and jumped on the bed. I shook my head and got my suitcase from the man. I reached in my back pocket and gave him a five.
"Thank you."
He nodded and made his way to the elevators. I closed the door and locked it before making my way Where the kids were. They were running around the hotel room having the time of their lives.
"Twins come here!"
They ran over to me and sat down.
"Come. Let's call dada."
"Otay." They said catching their breath.
I dialed his number and put it on speaker phone.

King: Hey babe
Me: Hey bae
Twins: hey daddy
King: Hey. Y'all having fun with ya mama
Twins: yea daddy we went in the airplane.
King: that's cool. Anybody try to talk ya mamma?
Me: yea
King: who?
Me: the cab driver.
King: ugh
Me: What
King: you need to come home.
Me: boy. Where my other babies at
King: sleep unlike you my kids have school.
Me: Nicolas
King: Yes
Me: Good night.. we'll call you guys in the morning. I love you
King: I love you too
I hung up the phone and looked at the twins.
"Cmon, bath time."
They got themselves undressed and got into the tub. I sat on the toilet and bathed them. I sung a song to them and sighed.
"Alright, let's get out and go to sleep. You going to work with Mommy."
I got them both out the tub and laid them both on the bed. I walked over to the suitcase and pulled out there clothes along with lotion and hair stuff. I got them dressed and did their hair. They laid in the bed next to mines and watched cartoons that were on the tv.
"Good night mommas babies."
"Good night."
