It's lunch but I'm not very hungry. I've been so preoccupied in my own thoughts. It's getting exhausting. I've noticed Butters looking at me all day. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Not bad though. Maybe I'm just confused.
I need a bit of fresh air so I go into a classroom and sit by the window. I close my eyes and take a deep breath.
Then I hear footsteps behind me.
I open my eyes and look behind me. It's Stan.

"Hey, man." He says.

"Hey."

"Are you all right? You seem kinda distant." He says with worry.

"I'm okay. I just have a lot on my mind right now."

"Oh?" Stan sits down in the seat next to me.

"Well, I've noticed someone has been looking at me a lot for a while. I think they like me." I say.

"Ooo, who is it." Stan nudges me with his elbow.

"You promise not to tell anyone?"

"Yeah, no worries."

"It's Butters." I whisper, just in case anyone was trying to listen in on our conversation from outside the door.

"Butters? Isn't he with Kyle?"

"Not anymore, they broke up a while ago."

"Well, I'll be damned." Stan says surprised. "And Butters has been staring at you since?"

"From time to time, yeah."

"Are you gay though?" Stan asks.

"I don't think so." I say. I know I've had crushes on girls a few times so I'm definitely not gay.

"Are you going to talk to him about this?"

"I tried to but he didn't give me a proper answer."

"I think you should talk to him about this and figure out what you want to do." Stan says as he pats me on the shoulder.

"Yeah.. Thanks for talking to me, man." I say and smile at him.

"No problem, dude." He smiles back.
I stand up and start walking to the cafeteria.
As I get closer to the cafeteria I see Butters walking out. He looks towards me. His eyes and mine meet. I stop walking and stand still. He does the same. I don't know why but my legs won't move. I just stand there, staring straight into Butters' eyes who stands about 6 meters from me. He starts twiddling his thumbs.

"Hello." I say.

"Hi." He replies.

"I need to talk to you."

"About what?"

"I think you know." I say and avert my eyes from his and look at his hands.

"Yeah.. I think so." He says and looks down. I walk towards him.

"Maybe we should go to a more private place." I say as I noticed all the students walking past us.

"Yeah." He agrees.
We walk outside and sit down on a bench near the school. He keeps looking down at his lap like he did something wrong. I'm not sure why though.

"So.. about yesterday." I start. "I think it would be best to talk things through."

"I agree." He replies.

"So..?"

"I... I think I might have a crush on you, Kenny."

"All right." I look at him. He's still just looking down.

"You don't have to tell me how you feel about me, I know you're not gay or anything." He then says. He looks so sad. It's kind of breaking my heart seeing him like this.

"Yeah, I'm not gay..." I think for a moment. There's something I've been wondering for a good while now and I'm pretty sure I've figured it out now. Looking into his eyes earlier helped me confirm it. "Butters.."

"Yeah?"

"I'm bi." My heart starts to race as he looks up and straight into my eyes. His eyes beamed with hope and he smiled.
