I'm up in my room. I'm not sure what to do. I could go to sleep but I'm not really that tired. I don't think I should go bother Kyle at his house but maybe it's okay if I send him a text? Maybe he knows why his parents were at my house earlier.

Me: Hey..

I wait for a response for over 15 minutes and then I just put my phone down. Almost an hour later I hear my phone's notification bell. I pick it up and open the text.

Kyle: Yeah?

Me: Just wondering how you're feeling :)

Kyle: Not so good tbh. I told the guys we're broken up earlier today.

Me: Oh, how did they take it?

Kyle: They were just surprised.

Me: I understand that. But I was wondering..

Kyle: ?

I was going to ask about his parents but another question popped into my mind..

Me: Did I hurt you?

Kyle: Kind of.. I was pretty in love with you hahahh..

Me: I'm sorry.

Kyle: It's okay, rather you be happy without me than unhappy with me.

Me: Yeah

Kyle: I still care about you though.

I'm not sure how I should answer him. If I say I care about him too he might think I want to get back together, but if I don't answer it's like I'm ignoring him. I wouldn't want that either. I'd love for us to be friends, but just that. I'll just send something casual.

Me: Ditto :)

Kyle: :)

Okay, I think that's good. Just friendly. I smile to myself. I think we'll be fine.

The next day.
I arrived at school pretty late. I missed the bus so I had to walk. I didn't really care I missed it. I've been in a kind of rebellious mood lately. I just want to have fun and not worry about any responsibilities. I should make the most of my teen years.
My first class is math. I sit down beside Kenny. He smiles at me and I smile back. I really wish we could go out together, alone. But I wouldn't want Kyle to hear about it. I don't want to hurt him more than I already have.

At lunch I go and sit with the guys at our usual table. I sit down beside Kenny. Eric, Stan, Kyle, Jimmy, Craig and Tweek are also there. Craig and Tweek have been together since the yaoi incident in 4th grade. It seems so long ago now.

"Hey, guys." Craig greets Kenny and I as we sit down.

"Hey." Kenny replies.

"Hey, f-fellas! I was wondering if y-you guys wanted to c-co-come to a little get together at my house after school? My parents are away the next co-couple of days." Jimmy then asks.

"On a monday?" Kyle asks.

"W-well, it's almost christmas break anyways." Jimmy replies. I had totally forgot. This was the last week of school this semester. I had finished all my exams early last week, some of the guys had maybe one left though.

"I'd like to come." I say.

"Yeah, me too." Kenny says to Jimmy.

"How about you, f-fellas?" Jimmy asks and looks over the group. Most of us agree to go, Craig and Tweek are the only ones not coming because they both have one exam tomorrow.

"Are more people coming?" Cartman asks.

"Some of the g-girls and maybe Kevin, Clyde and Token. Timmy's not coming th-though, he got like t-two exams left."

"Poor guy." Stan says. I hope the get together will be fun. I'd like to get to talk to Kenny more. It could be a bit difficult though because Kyle's gonna be there too.
