Courage

It's been a week since that incident happened at the laboratory. Nothing happened for the past few days but until now, the answer to riddle wasn't an easy to crack. Everytime I asked Jackster about it, he would just seriously change the topic and often wore his poker face expression. I don't know if it is deliberate or not. I wonder if he has an idea about the riddle and he's just hiding it to me or until now, he doesn't know how to crack the meaning of it. Either the two, I was just doubting him.

During our Muggle subject, lagi kong tinatanong kay Calix kung may sagot na ba tungkol sa riddle na iyon but he would just shrugged his shoulders and assuring me that everything will be alright. But that time, hindi ako nakuntento sa advise sa akin ni Calix. Lagi akong binabagabag sa tuwing naiisip ko ang kasagutan doon. I always find the way how to crack the meaning of the riddle and I ended up without getting the answer. Hinanap ko rin ang nawawalang papel sa dorm baka sakaling kung saan ko lang iyon naipatong but all the corners of the room, there was no signs of a small paper.

Naisip ko rin na hindi kaya may kinalaman dito ang Renuers? It's possible right? Sa dami ng iniisip ko, yun ang pumasok sa isipan ko. Last time, naghahanap ako ng impormasyon tungkol sa renuers kahit history lang ng magic council tungkol sa kanila. Maybe I could find the answer behind it. Nakaligtaan ko na ngayon ang pakay na maghanap ng impormasyon dahil sa mga nakaraang nangyari. And I don't know where should I start.

I was silently eating my snack with my deep thoughts nang bumalik si Elise at umupo sa tabi ko. She nudged my side kaya napalingon ako sa kanya.

"Are you okay? Palagi kang tulala. Do you have a problem? A penny for your thoughts?" She asked in continuous question to me. Am I? Sa isang buwang pananatili ko dito sa Oxsenford at mula nang makilala ko si Elise, kilala na niya akong mabuti. She knows me very well. Kaya alam niya kung ano ang iniisip ko ngayon at alam niyang may bumabagabag sa akin.

"Ewan. Hindi ko alam, Elise." I said coldly.

Elise thought for a while. "Do you still distressed about the guy who gave you the mystery of riddle?" She asked. Worried is all over her face.

Alam ni Elise ang tungkol sa nangyari sa akin. Nalaman niya ito nang sinabi sa kanya ni Calista ang lahat even the mystery guy at the ball. Nalaman din niya iyon. Nung una ay nagtampo siya sa akin kung bakit hindi ko raw sinabi sa kanya at itinago ko ng wala siyang kaalam-alam na may nangyayari na palang masama sa akin pero sa huli naintindihan din niya ako. I don't know what to do that time kaya hindi ako nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na masabi sa kanya and aside from that, curiousity is attacking me about the renuers.

"Elise, You know what's my situation right now, right? Actually, I have a hunch of feeling that mystery guy is one of a student here in Oxsenford. If ever he is really one of my classmates, he has the right time to attack on me. The incident wasn't a coincidence because someone is really serious in taking my life in risk and he is just watching me somewhere closely!"

Nanlaki ang mata niya sa sinabi ko. "Maybe. I think we should observe around if someone is suspicious." Tumango ako sa ipinahayag niya. Observing is a good idea.

Nilibot ko ang paningin sa paligid ng hall. Hindi naman mahirap mag obserba sa buong hall dahil nasa pinakadulong puwesto kami at halos nakikita ang lahat ng mga estudyante lalo na ang mga pumapasok at lumalabas ng dining hall. We have two vacant hours to relax before our next class so we have the time to observe things, not a thing but a PERSON.
