💎Ivy💎

I waited for about five minutes until I saw Rye's familiar truck appear in front of my house. I walked to the passenger's side and got in.

"Rye wouldn't let us in the front because he wanted to sit beside you. I swear he has a crush on you or something," Kayla said.

Rye and I looked at each other with our faces scrunched up in disgust. We've never even thought of liking each other because we're like siblings, so it's a bit weird to hear that.

"Ew!" Rye and I both squealed at the same time.

"But anyway, I'm happy to see you," Kayla said. Kayla is a friend of ours. We met her a few years ago when Bet freaked out because she thought she broke her arm, which she didn't. But Kayla helped us and we've all been friends since. And it also helps that Kayla is a werepire.

"Yeah, I'm happy to see you too," I replied with a smile.

"Okay, this is way too mushy for my liking," Rye comments as he starts to drive away from the house.

"Get used to it, buddy," Kayla says as she pats Rye's shoulder.

"No," Rye says playfully.

"Then die!" I yelled as I looked at him.

"Ivy! Stoppp!" Rye whined as he jumped slightly.

"No! Never!" I yelled.

He pouted and looked at me for a few seconds, giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Eyes on the road, Beaumont! I don't wanna die today," Bet scolds.

"Okay, mom," Rye says jokingly.

Bet, Jack, and I laugh. Then I look out the window and watch as buildings, vehicles, trees, and people go by swiftly.

We end up at Westfield, of course. I was a bit anxious about going in, since Rye, Bet, and Kayla like to yell and embarrass Jack and I. I'm just praying that at least Jack won't join in again.

Rye smirked at me as he got out of his truck, and I knew instantly that this was going to be a nightmare.

We all walked inside and Jack and I tried to keep our distance from the three noisy immortals as the called out random things.

I groaned as Rye started yelling to a random guy below us.

"Ryan, stop," I said, hoping that he'd finally listen.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, IVY?" Rye screamed.

I smacked his arm and glared at him.

"Stop!" I whined.

"WHAT?" Kayla yelled.

Jack pulled me away from the three weirdos as we walked into random stores.

Even though we were far away from them, we could still hear them screeching.

I groaned again as I heard them coming closer to us.

"Run," Jack said.

I nodded as we both ran from their loud, screechy voices.

"We're gonna die," I stated breathlessly as we hid in a random store, hoping they wouldn't come in there with us.

"Where did you guys go?" Rye asks.

"Somewhere," I answered.

"Rye's mind-linking me," I stated.

"What is he saying?" Jack asked.

"He just asked where we are. I didn't tell him, though," I said.

"Good."

"Ivy! Come on! We just wanna hang out with you guys," Rye said, try to convince me to tell him where we are.

"No way. I don't wanna hang out with screeching monkeys," I said.

"But why?" He asked.

"Because I don't wanna get kicked out again!" I exclaimed.

"But Ivy! Come on!" He whined.

"No!"

Then I blocked him out.

"IVY! JACK!" I heard Rye yell from a distance.

"Shit!" I exclaimed quietly as I heard them coming closer.

"IVY!" Kayla screamed.

Then it went quiet for awhile.

"We got kicked out," Bet informed.

"Of course you guys did," I said.

"They got kicked out," I informed Jack.

He laughed. "Of course."

"Can you guys come back now? We're walking to the truck and we want to leave soon," Bet said.

"Give us a few minutes," I said, knowing that they were all highly impatient and this would drive them mental.

"No!" Bet whined.

"Yes!" I mocked her.

"Why don't we walk around for a bit?" I asked Jack with a smirk.

He smirked back as he knew my plan. "Sure. I mean, we've got nothing better to do anyway."

I laughed as continued walking around and buying things.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been updating much lately. I'll try to keep updating.

Anyway, hope y'all have an amazing day!
