At Bet and Jack's house

Brooklyn knocks on the door frantically until Jack opens the door and stares at us like we've gone mental.

"Where are the kids?" I asked.

"Upstairs with Alissa and Bet. Why?" Jack asked.

"We'll explain in a minute," I said as I budged past him and ran upstairs. I saw Bet, Alissa (Bet and Jack's daughter), Zion, and Sabrina in Alissa's room, laughing.

"Hey guys! What's up? You looked like you just saw a pig talk," Bet said jokingly.

"Mommy, what's wrong?" Sabrina asked as I picked her up and hugged her.

"Nothing, pumpkin. Why don't you, Zion, and Alissa go downstairs with Uncle Jack?" I suggested.

"Okay," Sabrina said as she pulled Alissa downstairs with Zion following them.

"The pack myself and Ivy had a meeting with today had Jacob in it. Basically, he threatened to hurt the kids," Brooklyn explained shortly.

Bet stared at him, looking slightly confused, but also shocked.

"Seriously? I'm gonna kill him!" Bet exclaimed.

"No, Bet. It's fine. Well, not really fine, but you get what I mean," I say, mumbling the last sentence.

"What are we gonna do? He's obviously gonna try something," Bet asked, looking a bit anxious.

"I don't know." I sighed, not liking the situation and not liking the fact that I didn't know what to do to protect my kids from my abusive ex-boyfriend that threatened to harm them.

"Maybe it's not a good idea to go home, just in case he knows where you live," She suggested.

"Yeah, you're probably right." I sighed.

"What're you guys talking about?" Jack asked.

"Where are the kids?" I asked.

"Downstairs," He replied.

"Well, Jacob was in the pack that we had a meeting with and he threatened to hurt them," I explained.

"Shit. Really?" He asked with wide eyes.

"Yep," Brooklyn said.

"Well, what are we supposed to do?" Jack asked.

"I don't know. But we probably shouldn't go home because he might know where we live," I stated.

"We should probably tell the others about it," Jack suggested, referring to Rye, Sam, Mikey, and Andy.

"Yeah, probably," Brooklyn said.

"I'll call them over," I said.

I mind-linked them all and asked them to come over to Bet and Jack's house to talk about something important.

Cliffhanger! Don't hate me!😂😂 I'm sooo tired but of course, I had to update! School sucks! I don't think I'll ever understand why we have to get up so early to go to school. Like, seriously? Whyyy?😭😭
