💎Ivy💎

During the meeting

Jacob wouldn't stop staring at me. He wouldn't take his eyes off me. It's like he thinks I'm his in another man's arms, which is most definitely not the case.

Brooklyn rubbed my side as he continued to speak. I guess he could tell that I was severely uncomfortable.

The pack continued to talk for a little while longer before I noticed that Brooklyn was starting to get angry with the fact that Jacob wouldn't stop staring at me.

"Can you stop staring at my mate?" Brooklyn growled, cutting off Alpha Christian.

Jacob glared at Brooklyn. "What's wrong, wolfy? Scared I'll take her from you?"

"Stop." Brooklyn snarled aggressively as he held onto me tightly, scared that he might actually take me away from him.

"No," Jacob spat.

"Jacob, enough," Alpha Christian demanded.

"No. She's mine!" Jacob yelled.

"No, I'm not!" I yelled, my voice bouncing off the walls with my authorizational tone.

"Yes. You. Are," Jacob said agressively.

I growled lowly at him as I stared him down.

"Ivy, let me come out," Silver commanded.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes. I can handle this," She stated.

I allowed her control of the body, although I made sure that I was still able to switch back if I needed to.

"Leave," Silver said calmly to Jacob.

"No," Jacob said stubbornly.

"Now," Silver snarled.

"Do as she says," Alpha Christian said.

He huffed before standing up and storming out of the room and probably outside.

Silver gave me back control of the body and we continued the meeting as if nothing had ever happened.

****

The meeting just finished. It was a lot better when Jacob left because Brooklyn and I weren't uncomfortable and irritated.

Brooklyn and I are currently walking out of the meeting room with all the others. And of course, I just so happen to see Jacob standing by the front door, staring me down intensely. Brooklyn doesn't seem to notice because he walked away to talk to Alpha Christian and left me standing in the middle of the hallway alone and completely frozen in fear.

Jacob starts walking toward me whilst he continued to stare me down. I tried to run, but I still couldn't move. All I could do is watch as he came closer to me.

"Ivy," He said in a low, raspy voice.

I continued to stare without a word.

"You need to come with me," He ordered.

"N-No," I stuttered in a quiet voice that was just loud enough so he could hear.

"If you don't I'll hurt your kids," He threatened.

I shook my head and ran away toward Brooklyn.

When Brooklyn saw me he instantly wrapped his arms around me.

"What's wrong? What happened?" He asked frantically as he held my face in his hands, looking for any injuries to explain the horrified look on my face.

"J-Jacob," I whispered raspily, my voice failing on me.

Brooklyn growled loudly and pulled me into a tight, protective embrace.

"Get Jacob out of here, now!" Brooklyn yelled to Alpha Christian.

He did just as Brooklyn said and they started hauling Jacob out of the house.

"I'll kill them! I'll kill the little bastards!" Jacob yelled before he left. The pack didn't come back inside after that, so I assumed that they left.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Brooklyn asked in a soft and gentle voice.

"The kids. We need to go get the kids," I said breathlessly.

"Why? What's wrong?" He asked.

"H-He said he'd kill them. He's gonna kill them!" I yelled as I tried to escape Brooklyn's embrace to start running to my kids.

"That's who he was talking about? He's gonna try to kill them?" Brooklyn asked, his voice getting louder with every word.

"Yes! We have to go, now!" I exclaimed, still struggling against his tight grip on my waist.

We rushed out of the house and quickly shifted, sprinting to get to the kids as fast as possible.

Hey guys! I feel like a zombie right now! Ughhhh! I'm so tired and I have things to do today and I don't want tooooo!
