💎Ivy💎

Three hours later...

I felt Brooklyn stir beside me. I looked up to see his eyes slowly opening. He squinted his eyes from the bright sun shining through the window, but smiled at me once he saw me.

"Hey babe," Brooklyn said, his voice raspy.

"Hey," I said back, leaning up and kissing his jaw.

"What time is it?" He asked.

I looked back at the digital clock that sat on the bedside table.

"It's 5:28pm," I replied.

"I'm hungry," He stated.

I giggled. "Me too."

We both hesitantly got out of bed and made our way downstairs to find something to eat.

"Well, good morning," Rye said sarcastically as we both came downstairs.

"Oh, shut up," I said.

He pouted at me. "But Ivyyy!"

I looked at him blankly, showing him that I wasn't in the mood for this before I walked into the kitchen with Brooklyn.

"How does eggs sound?" He asked.

"That sounds good. I should probably go out hunting as well. We both haven't had any animal or human blood in a while," I stated.

"But I don't want you to go alone," He said quietly, looking down and biting his lip after.

"How 'bout I take Rye with me?" I suggested, knowing why he didn't want me to go alone. I also didn't want to go alone, so I didn't have a reason to argue against his worry.

He nodded, looking a bit more relaxed now.

"Okay." I smiled at him before kissing him, then saying a quick goodbye before going to the living room.

"Rye, would you mind coming out hunting with me?" I asked.

"Sure," He said quickly.

I told everyone in the house what Rye and I are doing so no one would worry before I grabbed a few containers and a bag and then we both walked out.

****

Soon we found a human walking alone in a place where no one was. We both ambushed him, Rye holding him down whilst I broke his neck, killing him. Then Rye bit into his neck and allowed the crimson liquid that filled the man's body to slowly pour out whilst I quickly got out containers and laid them by his neck to collect the blood.

Rye and I sat in an awkward silence as we waited for the blood to finish filling the small plastic containers. I looked up at him and awkwardly laughed, not knowing what else to do.

"Sooo...how are you and Brooklyn doing?" He asked.

"Uh, good." I looked away from him and back to the lifeless body laying on the ground. Finally, all the containers were filled.

I sealed the containers with a lid and Rye dragged the body somewhere so it would be harder to find whilst I put the containers in the bag again and slung it over my shoulder.

Rye came back and we both slowly started walking.

"How many containers did that fill?" He asked.

"Five in a half. Why?" I replied, tilting my head to the side and looking at him.

"Just wondering because I'm a bit hungry too and I think the other vamps in the house probably are as well," He said, looking straight ahead of him.

I nodded. "Yeah, probably."

****

After we all ate Brook and I cuddled up on the sofa, watching something random on the television. I looked up at him, smiling softly as I scanned his face, wondering how someone could look so beautiful.

Brooklyn looked down at me with a smirk on his soft pink lips.

"What are you looking at?" He asked in a teasing tone.

"Nothing," I said, kissing his cheek and turning my face back towards the TV.

"Are you sureee?" Brooklyn asked, a playful look on his face.

I looked at him with a small smile. "I was just looking at your face."

He smiled. "Why?"

I rolled my eyes and stared at him with a slightly annoyed look on my face. "Because you're handsome. Now be quiet and watch the movie."

Brooklyn pouted. "But Ivyyy-"

"Shhhh!" I interrupted, staring at the TV.

He whined and bounced on the sofa.

I looked at him again with raised eyebrows. "What?"

"Love meee!" He whined.

I groaned. "What do you mean? I am loving you."

"But you're mad," He said, pouting with his puppy dog eyes looking down at me. He always knows how to make me crack.

I giggled. "I'm not mad. You're just being annoying," I said, nudging his side.

"Ow!" He exclaimed.

"I barely even touched you," I said, not impressed.

"You hurt me!" He exclaimed.

"Shut the fuck up!" Andy yelled from upstairs.

I laughed loudly, Brooklyn staring blankly at me.

"You got told off!" I teased.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Brooklyn huffed, crossing his arms over his chest and moving away from me.

"Brooklyn, come on!" I whined.

He kept staring at the television, not acknowledging me in any way.

I squinted my eyes at him, unable to tell if he was really mad or not.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and he shrugged it off. I sighed.

"I'm sorry," I said softly, hoping he'd stop being mad at me. But he just continued staring at the TV.

"Brooky, please don't be mad." I stared at him with sad eyes, hoping he'd at least look at me.

"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to upset you," I muttered, looking down at my hands.

Then I heard him chuckle. I looked up at him to see him staring at me with a playful look.

"I got you!" He exclaimed.

I gently hit his arm. "Don't do that! I thought you were mad." I pouted.

"Aww baby! It's okay," He cooed, wrapping his arms around me.

"You're mean," I stated.

"No. I just like messing with you." He smirked, looking at me.

I rolled my eyes at him.

This boy is so annoying.

Hey guys! I'm back, even though it took 100000000 years. I was asked to update so I decided I would make that person happy and do so.

Anyway, hope y'all have an amazing day!

See you on the flip side🌵🔄
