"What the heck dude" I say half awake and half asleep
"I just had to get some RonRon pictures so when you confirm it I will have pics to send to my boy Spencer Steelman"
"Do you want a ride to the airport?"
"Yeah of course"
"Then stop taking pics and let me sleep"
"Ok fine" I hear more pictures being taken and giggling so I just let it happen. I decide that I can't ignore so I get up carefully so I don't wake up Roni. I brush my teeth and shower and get dress. I walk back in the room and see Roni was still sleeping. Dang, how did I get so lucky. I don't want to wake her up because she looks so peaceful but I know she would want to say goodbye to Lauren and Alex. Alex also said he would tell her in the morning that he would propose to Lauren. I tap Roni gently on the shoulder.
"5 more minutes"
"Ok but you will miss saying goodbye to Laurex and hearing Alex's big surprise"
"Oh I'm up" she says shooting up. She brushes her teeth and showers. Then she gets dressed. It took her like 20 minutes.
"Geez it took you long enough"
"Well sorry I just wanted to look my best"
"You look great no matter what you do"
"Awww baby" She says then gives me a kiss. We walk outside and Malaya is waiting in the hallway. She's holding on to Alex's leg and is telling him she doesn't want him to leave. Guppy is licking her face while Pogi and Moose are playing for one last time. It's a chaotic scene. Lauren goes to the upstairs room to get her makeup bag. Alex whispers into Roni's ear about his surprise.
"OMG this is so cute"
"Shhh it's a secret"
"Ok. Wait don't tell me your using a flash mob"
"Nah. I don't think I can handle being rejected"
"Then make sure to record the whole thing and take lots, I mean lots of pictures"
"Ok, ok"
"She coming act calm" We act like nothing ever happened. Alex and Lauren say there goodbyes then we take them to the airport. They promise to call us and mom and dad when they land. Moose looks sad. We reassure him that he will get to play with the dogs again. Tiger might even come to visit. I don't think he understands what we're saying so he just looks confused. Alex is trying his hardest not to be awkward about hiding the ring but you can tell through his face. We cover for him as much as possible. I hope he can survive without us. The board the plane and we leave. I'm driving towards Mom And Dads House but then make a quick detour.
"Where are we going"
"Its a surprise"
"Your always surprising me. I want to do something for you"
"Well this is your late birthday gift"
"Well can I have a hint"
"Umm Yeah. Well it's something you wanted for a long time"
"That could be a lot of stuff"
"Well you will just have to wait and see what it is"
"Ok. I'm so excited" I drive for about ten more minutes then we pull up in a parking lot. I tell Roni to wait in the car while a grab the gift. I meet the guy and he gives me a box with little air holes. I peak inside and see the cutest little hedgehog you have ever seen. I mean this is the only hedgehog I've ever seen in real life but you know what I mean. I bring him back to the car and Roni opens it. She instantly starts to cry.
"Aww don't cry"
"I can't help it he's too cute"
"So you like it"
"I love. Thank You. Your the best boyfriend I Could ever ask for"
"Your welcome. Now what are you going to name him"
"Well since we're both the parents I think you should have some say"
"No it's your present"
"Ok. Let's see. I have the perfect name!"
