I tell Roni that I'm going out to get ice cream, which isn't a complete lie but it has some non truth in it. I go to the mall instead. I just want her to fell appreciated and loved after all that. I know it was pretty tough on her. I know she mentioned something about a MorphexJames Charles makeup pallet. I ask the people in the store for it. They found it easily and gave it to me. It was one of the last few in stock. Sister James made a hit with this one. I get her a stuff animal,as always. I think it's our little tradition. The last two stops I make are for desserts. I get her some edible cookie dough and ice cream. I pick up some lactaid pills to. I know she hates it when she eats dairy and her stomach hurts afterwards. I leave fast before the ice cream melts. I hope she likes the gifts. When I get back Kian is downstairs devouring left over pad Thai.
"Whoa,slow down bro you're going to-"
"Ahh shit, I bit my tongue"(Sorry I don't like cursing,but it fits with Kian's character)
"Yep" I say nodding my head in disapproval while balancing an ice cream cone and cookie dough.
"Nice save" Kian says while gulping down water to heal his sore tongue.
"I used to be the defense god in high school"
"Yeah like twenty years ago"He says under his breath
"Oh so you got jokes now?"
"Let's settle this on the court"
"Loser has to eat three raw eggs" Kian says
"Bet"
"Hold up, are the girls sleeping"Kian asks
"Last time I checked they were"
"Let's check again" We check on them. Roni and Nessa are on the same bed sleeping with their cat and hedgehog stuffed animals. We give them a kiss on the forehead. Kian and I have a one on one match I beat him by three points.
"Aww man, I don't feel like swallowing nasty eggs" Kian says while pretending to gag.
"If you give me 50 dollars I'll do it with you" I suggest
"Deal" When we get home the girls are awake and stretching.
"Where have you guys been?" Nessa asks. It was kind of inaudible because she was just yawning.
"Playing basketball" Kian says while pretending to dunk on my head.
"Which he lost" I say. I pull out two cups and crack three eggs in each of them.
"What the heck, Please don't tell me this is some type of new diet that your trying" Roni says
"Nope, Kian lost so he has to down three raw eggs"
"Eww" Nessa says
"Still don't understand why you're doing it to"
"I paid him fifty dollars" Kian said
"1....2...3" I count down. I can feel the slimy egged go down my throat. The swallowing sound is muted by the sound of Roni and Nessa gagging.Kian acts like he's going to start throwing up while I run to the fridge to get water.
"Fuck that was nasty" Kian says
"Language" Nessa says. I forgot he was trying to tone down his cursing for the kid. He's only got five more months to prepare.
"Sorry babe" he say and covers his mouth
"That was literally the worst thing I have ever done" I say.
"I saw the eggs go down your throat"Roni says while pulling me into a hug.
"I brought you some gifts"
"Awww thank you"
"Anything for my princess" she stands on her tip toes and kisses me
"Ugh, I forgot you just ate raw eggs" She says and rolls her eyes.
"Oh you know you love to kiss me no matter what"
"You're right" She says and wraps her arms around my neck and I wrap my arms around her waist. I'm leaning against the fridge.She gives me a longer kiss.
"Did you know that you're the most amazing, handsome,caring person I know?"
"Did you know that you're the most beautiful, loving, and exceptional person I've ever met?"
" I'm so glad I'm marrying you"
"Me too princess, me too"
"So,about those gifts" She says and grabs my hand
"Hmm, should I give them to you"
"Pleassssssseeeeeee" She says and gives me puppy dog eyes
"Don't give me the puppy eyes"
"Pretty please"
"I can't resist" I say and hand her the Sephora bag.
"I can't believe you went in Sephora"
"The things I do for love"
"OMG" She yells. I was turned around so it scared me.
"What is it?" I say in a protective but scared voice.
"You got me the James Charles pallet"
"What's going on" Kian says as he runs down the steps on concern.
"Is everyone ok?" Nessa says while trailing no to far behind him
"Oh sorry,I was over reacting" Roni says
"Ou, do I see a Sephora bag?" Nessa asks
"Yep, that's what I screamed about"
"YOU GOT THE JAMES CHARLES PALLET!"
"I KNOW RIGHT!" Now they're grabbing hands a jumping up and down.
"I want one Kian" Nessa says
"Ok, we'll go to the mall and get one"
"You better hurry, when I got Roni hers they only had ten left and it looked like a lot of people were coming in"
"Let's go Kian!" Nessa grabs his hand and drags him out the door.
Which leaves me and Roni just shaking our head and laughing.
"Thank you so much baby"
"No problem, you still have more gifts in fridge"
"Cookie dough?" She asks
"Yeah and ice cream, how did you know?"
"Just a wild guess"she says and taps me on the nose. I love her.
