In Love With My Best Friend

1st Birthday (Last chapter!)

Aaron POV
It's the twins first birthday. They grew up so fast. They're inseparable to,just like their mom and their aunt. They're a handful though. Guppy is always getting in trouble with them. They crawl super fast so you can't look away one second. What makes it even worse is,Reb and Guppy help them get stuff from higher places or places they have to stand or walk to. They can't walk yet but they're trying. The party's jungle themed. Vinny wants to be a monkey and Vi wants to be a toucan . We looked through some pictures and they decided what they wanted to dress up like. I get Vinny dressed and Roni takes Vi to get dressed. I put Vinny in his little onesie and put the hood and the tail on
"Ooo ahh" He says.
"My little monkey dude" I spin him in the air and toss him. He's growing teeth so he has a little banana teething toy. I put him down and I get dressed. Roni gave me and outfit to look like a lion. It's a onesie t with a mane and a tail. I was dreading wearing this,but it's pretty comfortable. Everyone's gonna be dressed kinda like this so, it's not that bad. Roni's a lioness. I take Vinny to get his little nose makeup done. I have to get little whiskers too. Vi looks so cute in her little blue dress with colorful,sparkly strips on the sleeves. When she raises her arms it looks like wings. It has a little hood on it and Roni's decorating the beak.
"Babe,can you and the babies come here" Roni says from the bathroom. I pick them both up and sit them on the bathroom counter. She pulls out some black face paint.
"Tickle" Vinny says while Roni brushes it on his nose. She does mine next.
"Why is this so cold,and why does it tickle?" I say. I'm on my knees because I'm to tall.
"Why are you guy so sensitive?" Roni asks and tickles Vinny and me. Once she finishes giving me whiskers and a nose, she gives Vi some glitter on her face and puts her beak on. We set everything up yesterday so all we have to do is set the food out and get the smash cakes ready. The kids don't fully understand what a birthday party is,but they're excited to see all the family and friends. We take the out of the car seats and put them on the mat we set up for the kids that come. We call Vinny our little acrobat because he just flips around. He doesn't even know how to stand yet,but he's doing forward rolls every where. We call him monkey dude because he just flips everywhere.
"AARON LOOK!" Roni says. I turn around and I see Vinny trying to stand up. I pull out the camera. He's standing all the way up then he lifts one foot up and steps down. He tries doing it again but falls.
"Monkey dude,you just walked!" Roni picks him up. He laughs.
"Down! Down!" He shouts. Roni puts him down and he stands up again. He grabs Vi's hands and helps her up.
"Awwww" Roni says
"He helped his sister up" I start awing with her. Vi takes a step and she falls.
"You're walking too!" I say and pick her up and spin her around in the air. We put them both down and put the food out that just got delivered and put one cake on each of the twins high chairs. They each say their names on them and they have the animal that they're. I look back over and I see them standing up and trying to walk again. Each time they're getting better at it and have more balance. We sit on the mat. Roni and I sit beside each other. The twins are both in the middle of the mat and call them.
"Come to Dada,come on" I pat the ground. Vinny struggles but makes it to me.
"Good job,bud!" I pick him up and shower him in kisses. Roni calls Vi and she makes it to her. We keep letting them walk and we play with them until it's time to greet the guests. We start of holding the babies while we greet the guest,but the twins insist on standing up while we greet everyone.
"Is that princess gorgeous I see?" Roni asks
"Yes!" Malaya replies excitedly. Roni gives her a big hug.
"I haven't seen you in soooo long" it's been awhile since we've seen her. I pick her up.
"Did you miss me?" I ask her
"Yep" She says. I put her down. The twins look confused,but are excited to see another kid. We play some games. Everyone's dressed as animals so it looks so cute.
Roni POV
I'm so glad that the twins are walking and are having fun at their party. We put them in their high chairs and let them see cakes. We sing happy birthday. As soon as we finish saying happy birthday to you,Vinny sticks his hand in the cake. It takes Vi a little while longer to catch on to it,but she starts eating fistfuls of cake too. Everyone else eats the cupcakes that are on the other table. We get them cleaned up and let them go back to playing with everyone. They walk to mostly,Lauren,Alex,Nessa,Kian,both their sets of grandparents and us. I'm so proud of how good they're doing. We wrap up the party and clean up. The twins are asleep by the time we finish cleaning. It's getting dark outside any way. We buckle them in their car seats. We give them a bath and put them in pjs and we shower. They wake up and we let them pick what movie they would like to watch and we give them popcorn. We're all on the same couch watching the movie. Aaron's arm is around me,my head is buried in shoulder and the twins are in our laps. I'm so happy with my little family and I'm so glad that I am where I am today.
That was the last chapter. It's a bittersweet moment. I'm glad that I finished my first book,but sad it's over. Thank you for all your love and support. I can't imagine what I would do without it. Don't worry,this isn't the last you'll hear from me. I will upload an author note/intro to my new book in two days so be on the look out. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and this book.
